Mixed feelings about working here. On one hand, the people I work with and the relationships I’ve built have been the best part of the job. I’ve genuinely enjoyed working alongside my coworkers, and the actual work itself has often been rewarding and engaging.

At the same time, it’s been difficult to stay fully invested because of ongoing disorganization on all levels. Communication, planning, and follow-through often feel inconsistent, which creates frustration and uncertainty in the workplace.

It was disappointing being promised opportunities for schooling and advancement into higher positions and broader scopes of work, only for them to never materialize despite waiting a significant amount of time. Professional development was presented as something achievable, but the lack of follow-through makes it hard to feel confident about long-term growth. 

Compensation has also become a growing concern. While raises have been given over time, they often haven’t felt sufficient compared to the workload, increasing responsibilities, or cost of living. It’s difficult to stay motivated when the effort and commitment put in don’t seem to be matched by meaningful growth in compensation or career opportunities.

Overall, there are great people and positive aspects to the workplace, but the disconnect between what is promised and what is actually delivered makes morale difficult to maintain over time.

Working as a technician at Corrosion Service Company Limited has been quite the journey, to say the least. One thing I've come to appreciate is the ever-changing nature of our work. From scorching heat to bone-chilling cold, we're out there facing it all, and that definitely keeps things interesting.

What's cool is the variety of tasks we tackle. Whether it's checking pipelines for corrosion or implementing preventive measures, there's always something different on the agenda. It's like a puzzle, and figuring it out with my team is pretty satisfying.

Sure, there are tough days, but that's where the support from my colleagues kicks in. We're like a little family, always ready to lend a hand or crack a joke to lighten the mood.

All in all, being part of Corrosion Service Company Limited has its ups and downs, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. If you're up for a challenge and enjoy working with a tight-knit crew, this might just be the place for you.

I have mixed feelings about my time at Corrosion Service Company Limited. On one hand, the people are fantastic. I worked with some of the most genuine, knowledgeable, and supportive colleagues I’ve ever met; the sense of camaraderie is definitely the highlight of the job.

However, the lack of organization is a major hurdle. Project management often feels chaotic, and because processes aren't streamlined, the workload becomes unpredictable and inefficient. This lack of structure drastically impeded my personal life, as late nights and last-minute scrambles became the norm rather than the exception. It’s a great place if you value a tight-knit team, but be prepared for the work-life balance to take a significant hit due to the internal disorganization.

Very relaxed work day, modern mathematical and electrical applications are taking care of the routine work.
Excellent specialists dealing with ease on all Corrosion related issues and projects.
Sometimes the management does not set clear goals and therefore the objectives are allover the place.
A good place to start for graduates or engineers looking to get into the corrosion field.
Lots of courses taught by  world known experts and specialists, with more than 50 yrs experience in the field, subject and teaching.

I worked here for 5 years and it's the best job I've ever had. It's definitely challenging, fast paced yet fun. It has a family vibe so no matter how awful your day went people there support you. In the Edmonton branch no matter what group you belong to, from quality, technicians, engineers to management they truly support each other for success. Lots of team building fun activities, Christmas parties were great and they did a lot of fundraising that brought the office together.

The workplace culture at corrosion service is very positive.  There is room to grow and there are plenty of opportunities to learn something new to enhance your knowledge and skills.  The management is extremely helpful.  There are fun activities organized throughout the year.  There is a games room for employees with numerous different games, so employees can enjoy their time at work.  

I've had a really positive experience working at Corrosion Service. The company values technical excellence and gives employees real ownership over their work. Leadership is approachable and genuinely interested in supporting professional development. There’s a strong sense of purpose in the work we do, and the team environment is collaborative without being overly corporate. It's a great place to grow, especially if you're motivated and curious.

I would encourage you to work anywhere else than here. Management is egotistical and rude, they treat their employees very badly. Everything is last second and rush rush rush. You could take time off and they all forget and bulk up your work for when you return. No organization and the salary is as cheap as they can pay you with no raises vs your ever-growing workload. I was here for many years and I should have left sooner!

During the summer time the work is relatively fast pace with lots of hours; however, during the slower months the company is flexible and allows significant time off.  Work is generally on the road and can be difficult.  Good pay with lots of opportunity to move up if you like the company.  Employees and management care about the company and each other.
