Worst company who fires people very often. Talk allot about core values which they themselves don’t follow. Pretend allot like a family but suddenly members of the family will get vanished and management starts melodrama and pacifies rest of the employees.  Hide allot from employees and they expect you to be open minded. Idiotic hierarchical structure and they don’t have enough capability to measure the skills or talent of employees. There are leads who are useless and their main job is to do micromanagement and play mind games. There are few frogs in the well who involves in everything you do and judge you if it is not even their responsibility and may inform and discuss about the management. Another funny position is CFTL- he or she is the head of the so called family. They need to go for acting classes in the weekends in order to share important decisions to the team. They follow an outdated technique called CFT model where people from different department sits together and work as a team and they showcase that to the customers as a USP. They says that it will increase speed to their process. One day they started another department who sits in one BU and they start doing many activities for all other BUs. Still they says CFT model where people from different department sits together and complete work faster. But in real most of the jobs are not even happening from the same province. Example of a conflict between what they says and what they does. They don’t even respect your previous experience and ask you to do activities that a fresher can do. Another funny part is their main topics of discussions which normally last for long- Spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes etc about the customer documents. Most of the legends in the company doesn’t see much companies outside. I would say better stay away from those frogs in the well and be safe if you are looking for Peace of mind. 

I worked at Creation Technologies full-time for more than 2 years.

Pros

There are some wonderful people who still work here, but who knows for how long. Some very strong team leaders. A lot of great employees who I enjoy working with.

Nice facility with an exercise room.

Cons

I used to be a proud employee of Creation Tech. but there have been so many changes in the past few months that have completely transformed the company, and not for the better. It’s not the fact that changes are happening but how there is NO communication from leadership and they are making no effort to get to know any of us and our capabilities before doing mass layoffs.

We live daily in fear of our jobs as there has been limited transparency.

There has been a lot of judgment on how we did things over the past years, but they are disregarding the hard work we put in for years.

I’ve seen so many high performing team members leave either through resignations or terminations this past year.

Who knows how long new management will stay but the damage they’ve done is likely beyond repair. It will be on the people of Creation to rebuild the culture once the storm is over. Unlikely senior management will care to help us rebuild.

Whenever I report to my work, I have to organize my mind on the things that I will do by making a checklist of the tasks to be accomplished. I always have a positive thoughts of the challenges that I face everyday. And always wear a smile to my colleagues.

The management is very supportive. They always give trainings to upgrade our skills and also hear our concerns with regards to the operation inorder for us to be more productive.

With my co-workers, we work together so that we can build quality products that can satisy our customers.

If I have concerns, I have to ask the right person to help and give me ideas. There's no hardest part of the job because they answer my concerns.

The most enjoyable one is when you build a product that has no defect and when you inspect it properly, surely customers will be happy.

The hardest part of the job is to continually keeping our customer happy by shipping on time with high quality, but the great side of this is that you can see that everybody is working hard to make things achievable. The workplace culture is like a family that really helps each other to make a great result that also benefited the whole company because at the end of the year they always giving profit sharing for everybody. And the most enjoyable part is after a typical and tiring day at work, we have a big playground for table tennis, basketball, badminton and volleyball to play and relax with other workers, as well as a gym to make others more fit and healthy.

The one thing that I regret in my life to go and work for this company. This company never represent the Canadian culture and what it stands for in any shape or form. Full of unqualified people and just to give you a sense of what you can expect. you can literally find people working as troubleshooter technician and even a supervisor with 0 knowledge about the basic fundamentals of the industry. Lack of culture, transparency, and team. The foundation base on discrimination and bullying behaviors. I  can go on and on. I'll never recommend anyone to go work for it unless you looking to just add some Canadian experience for a tempory stay and just move.

Creation has a great atmosphere to work, we have people from all over the world that are  full of knowledge and experiences and are always  willing to share and help others all the time . As well it has great customers that gives you the experience to learn from all of them with the variety of products we build.

Its a company that has the best culture, it believes in every individual of the company and gives you the freedom to preform  your work wherever you are as well  as the freedon to express with and  open door policy.

Creation has become my second family and I enjoy coming to work every single day.

When l started there was only 32 ppl in office and approximately 30 production ppl. I started on production moved up quite fast. Hired into the purchasing team no training OSMOSIS was my training. Once l taught myself and with the help from other buyers only, l could then say l loved my job. My health started to deteriorate and this is when they decided to let me go.they won't say this is why but l know it is. After 17 years of service you know how they play. Not only that the new HR manager there is something special. Kinda glad I'm not there any longer.

Creation Technologies offers a vibrant work environment, where collaboration and teamwork thrive. The Creation we knew is dead. The 'family' culture is gone. Their published core values are a thing of the past. This regime change favours those in the "inner circle". If you're still there, you need an exit strategy now. If you're just joining, treat it as temporary. They just acquired a similar company in WA state. Many, many people have been terminated regardless of performance since late 2019. The handwriting is on the wall for a move to south of the border. Cutting costs is paramount for them now. Safety concerns are only given lip service.

This is all very sad to see. It didn't have to be this way...

I work with external customers to implement manufacturing schedules and solutions that meet specific needs. The position is considered the main driver of the operation.
I've learned in depth about customer and product launches from start to finish as well as lean manufacturing solutions and effective leadership.
