The Winnipeg location started as a great workplace because we were all experienced workers from a pharmaceutical background continuing the same great workplace culture from when the plant was owned by Apotex (Cronos bought the plant and hired all the workers). But everything that came from the Cronos company was a mess. Their HR is very hostile and unhelpful. Plans, deadlines, and priorities are constantly changing. As a result, work that you weren't allowed to spend time on because it wasn't "an immediate priority" suddenly has to be done in an impossible amount of time. The management is very inexperienced and makes strange decisions with no constancy. The company puts so much focus on KPIs that it makes people uncooperative with each other because they are far more focused on trying to get credit for some narrow KPI performance than actually working together and getting stuff done. In Winnipeg I loved my co-workers, and we were able to stay in our own little bubble a bit, away from the insanity of how stuff runs at Stayner, so I really enjoyed my time working for Cronos. But now that the Winnipeg site is closing down, I would absolutely not work for this company.

Direct manager is actually very understanding of our problems but the management above them is literally unaware of what we are actually doing. There is a lot of work and they are not hiring enough people for that work so in the end you overwork yourself. The overall work environment is not bad. You can sometimes fee unrecognized for the load of work that you do. But still the job and workplace environmental are ok to work for.

There really isn't anything stressful about the job... pretty easy work.

Work environment is pretty laid back.
Team aspect of job works well for meeting company expectations.


What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Easy work environment... no need to 'take job home with you'

- Hard work on the floor, unrecognized by management. 
- No bonuses for the people who actually make the money for the company.
- Management has no clue what even happens on the floor, takes credit for all the hard work employees do.
- Too many meetings for upper management, honestly huge waste of investor money.

After being there for 11 months and being  fired for no reason and them trying to blame it on my attendance after I hadn't missed a day in the last 3 weeks , I have no respect for the bottling team management nice to know what they do to there employees when there no longer needed or start standing up for themselves 

It is a really rewarding environment to work in. I was happy to have helpful colleagues and training that educated me about cannabis, the medical system, and how to work well to get the best quality service to clients. It is definitely the most supportive workplace I have worked in so far.

Fast paced work environment, lacking in some infrastructure larger companies would have. Good pay and great leadership. Very collaborative team. Great place to learn about the cannabis sector as management is very data driven.

The people are great to work with, very easy-going and fun. 
It’s a very easy, laid back job.
Management could use some readjustment though. Major lack of communication and not as family oriented as they say. 

The first day here was very easy. Supervisors and team leads are also very easy going and will help you out everytime you have anything to say. 
Only downside is you may get laid off for a week or two in winters bcuz of no production

Decent job if they paid well.  Overall if you liked cannabis and did not to make money to live w it would be ok. Overall I would never recommend other than it fills a gap but probably better place than this to fill the gap
