A typical day at work starts in the morning. To begin my morning, I write the WOD on the whiteboard and check in members for the first class. I develop a mobility routine that suits the workout of the day and from there on the rest of the class participates in the daily WOD. 
Management is fantastic; great communicators, very friendly and very impressionable. The culture here is to be social but committed to fitness (as any other gym). Some friendships are hard earned and built off of respect, so how you "carry" yourself is quite important. 
The hardest part of the job, is learning members' names.
The most enjoyable part of this job is becoming absorbed into a community. I wanted to be around a positive and friendly community, and I found exactly what I was looking for.

The culture is phenomenal here. The members are excellent. The training is second to none.
CrossFit Queenston Heights is a world class school of fitness in Niagara falls Ontario. Here you are taken through an intense and comprehensive fundamentals program in a one-on-one environment before graduating to group classes. You must first pass a series of benchmarks before being permitted to participate in group classes. The purpose of this is to ensure an adequate level of competency and proficiency in the many movements so as to prevent injuries from occurring.
The clients coming through this system are knowledgeable and amazing to be around, and just energize you through an entire day. The hardest part of the job is leaving to go home.

Since this was just a summer co-op, it gave me about 2 months to figure out what I really wanted to do. Crossfit is a sort of work out, super intense, fast pace, and fun. So when I went to work there as a receptionist, I got to see everyone go hard for about 20 minutes then cool down. They work out in groups, and everything is timed. I learned how to remember names a lot quicker than usual. I learned how to work out like they do with the help from the trainer/owner. The hardest part of the job was the downtime, or finding jobs to do to keep me busy.

i love working in cresent because of the friendly environment and considerate management and employees. we try to keep client trainer relations on good personal level. i have the chance to develop my skills in this sport and i love it.

Full of talented coaches, a great program structure, and a welcoming environment, Vic City is the place to go for CrossFit in Victoria.  Not only great for beginners but also there is a continual tradition of success at the highest levels of CrossFit competition.

Crossfit was bought by Cyclone Plumbing so while working for Cyclone Plumbing. I was given the responsibility of doing all the books for Crossfit. This was a great experience for me as I had to set up a new Company and start everything from scratch.
