Avoid considering employment at Crossbridge!
I regret to share that my experience at Crossbridge Condominium Services was deeply disappointing. The Regional Director, who was expected to support the property managers, frequently displayed a lack of professionalism, ethics, and effective management skills. This issue was compounded by the head office staff, who seemed primarily concerned with self-preservation rather than team support. Additionally, the Human Resources department was consistently unhelpful. The overwhelming workload, exacerbated by inadequate support from both Regional Director and the head office, made it challenging to perform effectively or learn anything valuable. Unfortunately, attempts to seek guidance or escalate issues were discouraged, with direct threats of termination for reaching out above one's immediate manager. This environment was not conducive to professional growth or job satisfaction.

This company has absolutely no respect towards their employees. Managers are very selfish and rude. All they care is how to look good in front of residents and boards. All regionals, HR, managers are connected with each other so employees privacy are not respected within the company. 
Company's top level is organized and does not care how managers or site administrators are working. 
Growth opportunities are not considered unless you want to apply for property manager. 
I can write many thing but there is no point as people will do what they want to do. So this place is good if you are very selfish, rude, and willing to let others down. You will have great opportunities. People who are honest, patience, and willing to grow with their abilities and skills are better not to be considered for this company.

A typical day's work starts by checking the work calendar, emails (for any urgencies), phone, and incident reports. Perfecting human relationships and understanding the building equipment are the most important areas I keep on working. Cultivating a teamwork environment at the workplace helps unburden me. Working with vendors and letting them work professionally is the hardest challenge of this job. Knowing the technical and mechanical aspects of the site equipment provides you with confidence in dealing with vendors. Achieving the satisfaction of the majority of the residents/owners is the most satisfying part of my job. 

Crossbridge will give you a chance and I like that about them.  I applied here after working at another management company for over a year with no advancement in the near future in sight. Some really good regional managers and some not so good. Mine is great.

They don't give regular raises and many employees that have been there for years tell me they haven't gotten raises in years. Not sure if I will stay with this company long term as I am looking for more incentives, extras ---a company that encourages employees and rewards those who put in extra effort. 

The hardest part of the job was trying to explain to owners the budget increases, especially those on a fixed income.

I learned to hone my people skills from wonderful residents who had years of business experience behind them.  I also had very special staff who did anything that was asked of them with a smile on their face. I was very  lucky.  

I also got great satisfaction from problem solving and seeing large projects completed.

I had a great Regional Manager although I know some others that didn't have as great of an experience. They obviously didn't have E.M. as their Regional because she is a star and the reason I stayed with Crossbridge for a few years. 

They have a great internal training program and the SOPs are an asset that really sets them apart from other PM companies. Benefits were decent but could be better. More massage benefits are needed as this is a stressful job. 



First positive experience  at Crossbridge after some painful years as an immigrant.
It’s always rewarding to work and learn from my regional manager. They have incredible standards of operation, and a genius senior accounting. 
Crossbridge gave me a sense of belonging. I work hard but it’s worthy to work for this company.
They have continuing education, but as I mentioned above , I have noticed that all regional PM have high standards of work and this creates high quality of service and great workplace

Dealing with abusive residents

Stressful, good for someone who likes to work fully independent and by themselves .

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Fast paced, unpredictable and hectic


collecting maintenance request from the residents, answering email and phone calls. 
I learned how to be patient. 
We have a multi cultural residents in  the community.
 The hardest part of my job when i see the ambulance infront of our building taking the resident to hospital and hear the bad news. 
Receiving flowers and compliments from the residents.


Lots of good training and support. Not a lot of holidays for the first three years. Great people! Worked at Discovery 1&2 condominium. If you work more than 20 minutes drive there, be ready to spend a lot of time in public transport (took me 3subways and 2 buses to get there back and forth. That’s 6 subways and 4 buses every day). They don’t work on the weekends or national holidays, great schedule.
