A typical day at work is either extremely slow-paced and everyone's hours get cut or it's overly busy and fast-paced. 

I don't think I've learned much besides using the mixers and just general experience with working with customers and serving or dressing cookies. All my skills are sort of locked to Crumbl, if that makes sense... The only thing is that it can look good on a resume to get kitchen experience if you decide to get another job within the same category.

Management is not really that great, it feels like they are often power tripping or just passive-aggressive. They are also struggling to keep up with Crumbl HQ's demands and honestly I feel like the whole store would improve if there was better and more management. 

The workplace culture is really nice, I honestly really love all my coworkers and they're very nice people and we do get chances to chat a lot while doing tasks and I do enjoy some of the management as people. The friends I've made at work will always be my favourite part of the job and what helps me get up in the morning to go to work every day.

The hardest part of the job is definitely within recent months we've been getting bombarded with updated Crumbl Policies that constantly change or become more strict without any sort of extra pay. The pay is and will always be minimum wage (plus the tiny amount of tips) and there are no chances of raises. Nobody gets any benefits because nobody can get enough hours to receive them. 
Another hard part is because Crumbl is advertised as "gourmet", certain customers will come in (the same customers REPEATEDLY, I might add) to scrutinize cookies that appear very slightly different from the picture or get mad at you for small things like the price of it or how cookies look ugly and basically order you around and talk down to you. Not much you can do except apologize and ask to get them new cookie(s) or if they want a refund.
I also honestly really hate asking out loud the phrase to ask customers for tips. Incredibly awkward and I got in trouble for changing up the sentence even just a little bit to sound nicer.
We are also either severely understaffed or severely overstaffed. Never an in-between. Overstaffed results in hours cut mostly by 1 hour or even 2 hours when it's bad. 

The most enjoyable part is always the people and the friends I've made. Another is that there are flexible hours for the most part, and getting time off is usually great as long as you do it in advance and let management know ahead of time if it's a greater amount of time off. They can be very understanding when it comes to medical stuff, school (busy times like exams), and just other things that pop up. 
It's a good job for students looking to do part-time work or especially if it's your first job. Interview was online and extremely simple questions and no experience is required. I think this job is a good resume builder, if anything.

One of the saddest parts of this job is the amount of potential the location had upon its launch and its subsequent downfall. They overhired for grand opening (hired everyone on the spot also), then quickly began to "let go" most of the staff post-training. Many things were offered during interviews and conversations with management that suddenly got 'forgotten' when brought up later. Most hires had been told and promised whatever they wanted during the onboarding. This became an issue when they suddenly had far too many employees to reasonably fill the few positions that the company intended to actually have. 
The demographic they chose to hire was also a younger generation, which I suspect was in hopes that if the staff had no idea what their rights were, they would be comfortable compromising as it would be their first job with no other reference point. Anyone who brought up their concerns or tried to negotiate with management about the treatment we were receiving got quickly fired for whatever reason they could find at the time. 
The store itself is aesthetically pleasing, and it's a novel idea to work for a gourmet cookie shop until it comes to the execution. Had management been more accountable and communicated any difficulties in scheduling, goals, and general direction, I think this could have been a very good place to work. I hope that in the future they avoid misleading any jobseekers and be honest about what the hours and pay will look like, but if not I hope this review saves another soul from having their lives turned upside down by this company/location. 

A typical day at work starts with you having to walk into the main entrance where all the customers will see you, then you clock in and have to find a shift lead who will tell you what to do, then you’re pretty much doing the same task all day except when it’s short staffed (always). One thing I learned is that they seem to hire anyone and get super overstaffed then begin to slowly let people go by telling them, or by just not scheduling you at all. One thing you quickly find out is that if the owners/managers are related to an employee in any way they WILL get special treatment, ( better shifts, less work, less mistakes being pointed out, etc.) They are one of the employers that will hire many under 18s so they only have to pay $13/hr( minimum wage for under 18) . They advertised “great pay” but it’s just over minimum wage but you get Tips. However It is an amazing job, as you are continually doing many hands-on tasks. The shifts go by pretty quick since it’s always busy. Overall, it seems fairly disorganized and lacks proper communication at times. Some managers/shift leads are amazing and super caring while some are quite rude and snappy. The overall workplace culture changes day-to-day depending on whose working or who is in charge. The best part of the job is the actual baking and decorating of the cookies. It’s also great talking to the customers as customer service is a HUGE part of the job, so if you don’t like talking to people it may not be the best place for you. Isn’t the best place i’ve worked, but it isn’t the worst. It could be better with better pay, organization, and less favouritism.

What I learned: I gained resilience and adaptability, learning to manage tasks with minimal guidance. However, I also learned the importance of clear communication and consistent feedback in the workplace.

Management: Management was inconsistent and lacked transparency. I was put on probation after a year of working, without prior notice or feedback, which felt unfair and left me with limited options for improvement.

Workplace culture: The workplace culture felt tense, with little encouragement for open communication or growth. Team morale suffered due to unclear policies and insufficient support.

The hardest part of the job: The hardest part was feeling uncertain about my performance due to the lack of constructive feedback and communication from management.

The most enjoyable part of the job: I enjoyed collaborating with my coworkers and the satisfaction of completing tasks efficiently, despite limited support from management.

A typical work day consists of coming in and working at whatever station you are assigned.  Management is poor as they tend to create a negative work environment by placing the blame on employees for things out of their control. Certain employees will be reprimanded for things that other employees also do, however they get away with it. Employees that are related to management get special treatment and occasionally higher pay. Your day and level of stress is heavily dependent on whether management wants to single you out or not. Management can be unorganized as some employees have been trained differently and have different methods of doing work. Workplace culture varies depending on who is working at a particular time. There can be negativity between coworkers but could also be friendliness. The hardest part of the job is all the tedious things that needs to be accomplished along with the immense stress that occurs during a rush. The most enjoyable part is the the actual baking process.

Throughout the whole time working here, crumbl as a whole got so strict with everything. it was almost like they came up with a new ridiculous rule everyday. it made it hard to work there but i made a lot of good friends and it’s a super easy job, something to do on the side. scheduling can be a mess and since my location was short staffed it was harder to deal with rushes because most of the time people were new and didn’t know things. it felt like a never ending cycle of stress sometimes. today was actually my last day working there and as much as i’ll miss my coworkers i won’t miss the stress my manager put on me to be the best.. like be for it’s a cookie place smh. the dress code changed so much and it’s a little weird because it’s literally a cookie place but whatever. managers lied about raises or never actually input that you received that raise. people are extremely over worked. it was a never ending cycle of stress but depending on the location things could be different 

Well at my location I was promised 30+ hour weeks. For the first two weeks I was working these promised hours. Soon they realized they over hired and were firing people left and right. I never felt secure with my spot as an employee and the management has now cut everyone's hours to one shift a week other than shift leads. They have had some SA issues with certain people but still have them employed. You are expected to pick up slack from everyone including managers for minimum wage. My entire shift I am running around in a disorganized workplace praying that someone else's mess up doesn't get blamed on me. Don't get me wrong though about 80% of the people are amazing. Everyone is lovely and the constant menu changing makes sure tasks aren't as redundant. So upset that things have gone the way they have at the location I was at. Hoping one day they get it in check. 

The job itself is easy, but the management is terrible. The manager offered me to work for 8 hrs for 4 days, since I am looking for a full time job and I accepted that. After being sick and not being able to go to work for 2 Saturdays shift, they will count that for their record as I have health issues. You can't even get a reply from the Shift Lead, and the Manager will reply to you several hours later after you sent the message. Some other employee are really nice, helpful and friendly, I worked with them a few times in my shift. You also come in to work just to be sent home early cause it is over staffed, then it becomes understaffed. I would go several shifts without getting a break. Captains can be so full of themselves, even the Shift Leads. If they don't like you, they will try their hardest to make you quit the job and you can even tell to their faces. 

Working at Crumbl was a very disappointing experience. From the beginning, I felt that employees were not treated with respect. Management often spoke down to staff and did not value the hard work we put in during busy shifts. There was little to no recognition for contributions, and even when we tried our best, we were rarely acknowledged.

On top of that, Crumbl does not allow tips for staff, which makes it even harder considering the fast-paced and demanding nature of the job. Work-life balance was difficult, and scheduling often felt unfair. The environment was stressful, and instead of being supported, I felt constantly undervalued.

Overall, I would not recommend this job to anyone looking for a respectful and supportive workplace.

I thought working here would be great. I passed the interview, and the manager and I agreed on 40 hours per week as a permanent full-time employee. He mentioned that he might not be able to promise 40 hours initially because the store was just opening, and they needed to understand the revenue flow. I accepted that.

However, I was given a schedule of 4-5 hours for three days a week, which eventually reduced to just one day for 4 hours, even though the store's revenue was increasing. My schedule never improved, despite the store doing well. Additionally, there was no job offer letter to sign.

I wouldn't recommend working here.
