What is the best part of working at the company?
The company has a flexible work environment and they will work around to accommodate for the disabled employees of the building. The hours can be parttime or full-time, depending on the contract hired for.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
If you have to get help to fill in for a medical reason and are already getting assistance from New Brunswick social development programs or the Canada government employment insurance program there could be delays in getting back in due to communication issues and pressure from too many observers.
  

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work culture and environment usually was working alone to clean offices, hallway floors, windows inside and outside., washrooms, stockrooms and lunchrooms. There was sometimes a helper for company machines to assist with buffing, scrubbing and the cleaning solutions to suit the environment of the building. We did spot removals wet and dry mopping and garbage collections from cans to outside dumpsters. We vacuumed carpets and brought in other cleaner crews to strip and wax floors.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Ask for support  or help with a problem and they will take their time to give it to you.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No stress that cannot be worked out.


What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment favours  motivated , responsible and reliable workers willing to go the extra mile to please the customer in spaces that can be cleaned on a part-time basis and keeps repeat business.


What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I go to work before the office, floors and washrooms are overoccupied and the building is open to the public. Usually there is some relevant cleaning to be done because of construction work or furniture or shelving being moved between shifts.

They are a bad company don't support workers at all Over  works all workers

No support  no days off no  respect for what you do for the company and min you make.a mistake your fired

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic and very self centered and too much family working there they get away with everything 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful and unpleasant  and not a good day ever

Check into the location early or after hours when customers are not in the store. I learned cleaning skills as in, mop and bucket use,  push floor scrubbers and burnishers, vacume for carpet cleaning.  kitchen and window cleaning, trash disposal and bag inventory. Different soap for each particular surface to be cleaned. The hardest part of job was the communication to get people to work
The emjoyable part of the job is that it is part-time and mostly flexable hours.

I've been working with Crystal Clean for over a year now, and I love it! It's rare that a company now-a-days is focused on people and not just money but I've seen first-hand, Crystal Clean puts their people first. The whole company philosophy is very grass roots and proud to be a Maritime company with local employees. The owner is the most down to earth guy you'll ever meet. I'm so happy to work for a company like Crystal Clean and hope to remain here for years to come! :)

The actual work isn't hard, and there's always hours available if: you want them, and can get to the job site.

I've been here under a year and already got a pay increase twice just because I'm willing to learn multiple skills. 

TBH, the hours kinda suck because we have to work when the work's available. Maybe it's a day shift, maybe it's a night shift. Of course, if we had more staff, we could divide it better.

Bait and switch for employees.  All seems to be going along well till the management decides they want more useless people in the office. This company is so top-heavy, it's only a matter of time.
Recently they expanded by buying into a franchise which was funded by cutting employee's wages by multiple dollars an hour, in some cases.

Over the past 8 months with Crystal Clean, I have seen a complete restructure of Management. This new structure puts a lot more focus on the employees and gives them the training that allows them to be successful.  There is opportunity for advancement and ability to transfer into other positions.   

I feel I can talk freely with my supervisors. In a few months, they gave me more hours to clean as I was gaining more experience. They try their best to give me work hours that fulfills my needs and respect my personal schedule. They helped me do the transition from part-time to full-time, and vice-versa when I requested it. 

From the start was expected to know everything about the job and had little time to even do it. Would get email early in the morning of everything I did "wrong", and in the end fired me because of something I didn't even do. Terrible place to work please don't work here they will fire you before you even get to use benefits.
