What is the best part of working at the company?
Management doesn’t treat mechanics good. Safety measures only are taken in account to punish tech.  Shop environment is bad as there’s no work and tech are sent home due to no work

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No work and management forcing to make you work in unsafe conditions if you refuse you are sent home 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Not very friendly, they present as a very safety oriented company but actual situation is different. Employees are always under knife due to management politics 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
No work, waiting for parts or told to go home for no work. Mostly sitting and doing useless trainings

CUMMINS is a great place to work. Just make sure that you get moved around in the different work areas. Learn as much as you can as this along with seniority will make you a go to person for outside service calls and over time work. My speciality was block repairs and that was the most enjoyable job I've ever had. Was sent out many times to perform, on some calls, miracles to get the block back in to useable condition. Great job. Miss the work.

I find it is one of the best I have worked at.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Handling dealer emails, phone calls.  Assisting account executive with their inquiries and staff members.

Pay and benefits are second to none. 
Unfortunately you will spend a great deal of time in useless meetings that are of no benefit instead of doing your job and looking after the customer.
HR is out to get everybody and hires people based on politics not on skills, then backstabs the hard workers to appease the weak ones. Management is overbearing and out of control. 
I would not recommend working here.

The people and team are highly cooperative, the job is competitive  and team work is everything. The entire job is people powered and this makes all the difference, people need direction and guidance. Achieved higher production and best quality with least amount of space and resources.

This unit has a Challenging but growing product (Green Hydrogen Generation Equipment and Fuel Cells). We will see how things unfold. Lots of job opportunities. Good for someone who want to learn next generation technology. Cummins is a good brand.

Cummins is a leader in the industry and expects all of its employees to be leaders and work by a set of core values. Slow moving when change is required. Great people at Cummins as well as great products to sell.

it was a great place to work until they went fully corporate and tried to make the Canadian workers the same as the American workers. Lots of political drama and poor management 

The job is not always the greatest ( working in -50) but the guys are great, money is good and lots of OT. There is alot of bonuses such as stock options,rrsp matching. Boots and clothing allowance 

I enjoyed my time here, compensation and benefits are good. The front loaded vacation is awesome and there is a sign on bonus, there is also a pretty good employee stock purchase program. Very good management at branch level.
