Custom Energized Air

Custom Energized Air was more then willing to teach me things about pneumatics and invest time and money in order to help me become more proficient in the industry.

It is the only company I have worked at where the owners actually come to work every day and put an honest effort. 

The attitude of the owners was that I; an employee, worked WITH them to make the company successful - not FOR them.   This definitely made approaching them with inquiries easier, and created a healthy, teamwork oriented environment.

The best part of the job was by far the people who worked there, as well as the wealth of knowledge they were more then willing to share.

Promoting from within for those who work hard and apply themselves has definitely been a positive part of the experience.

The worst part of the job is simply the transition from a very small company to one that is growing very fast.
"Organization and Accountability" is the mantra that is becoming a reality at the company - albeit slowly.

I see a bright future in CEA AIR; one i wish i could have helped shape further -   but my cancer diagnosis cut my employment short.

Great place to work the people are good with alot of experience and willing to teach. It is very busy and customers are good as well knowing what they need. There are lots of opportunities to learn an advance within the company as well as outside opportunities.  They are a major Parker Hannifin distributor whom help with internal training any many different areas of hydraulics and pneumatics. It was a great experience working with everyone.  Everyone  there has a lot of experience to share and learn from. It was a learning experience for me and I enjoyed working for them.

When I was hired on, I informed them I had little experience in the field. That I had a desire to learn, however, as the weeks passed it became obvious they had little patience to train and no real training program to speak of. The people were good, co-workers helpful, but environment was at times chaotic and lacked focus. Management wasn't necessarily focused on improvements, felt more like a place where they experimented to find a path forward

What is the best part of working at the company?
It's part of a larger company, Carmela Industries. It's great to interact with people from the other companies. We do a lot of social events which is fun. The company also does a lot to recognize and reward its employees. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The company has gone through a lot of change but I believe all the changes are for the good.

Custom Energized Air is a great place to work. The owners are very understanding are are willing to give employees training which helps overall in helping customers with all their needs. It also helped in teaching customers with all their needs. Overall it was a great learning experience and helped me to improve my customer service relationship.

This company lacks the ability to provide a safe work environment.  Smoking and drinking are common sight in the workshop.  A shop with flammable materials!  
One of the owners (4 of them) has no problem with smoking in the office while another, walks around vaping.  Can't report them as they don't care.



These people don't care about you. They don't care about safe work ethic. Smoking in the offices is absolutely disgusting for customers and workers. People stand up for safety then yet thrown under the bus for it. Not recognized for who you are. Go somewhere your treated like a human and your worth is shown

I learned a lot about pneumatics in between phone calls - no receptionist to direct calls and co-workers unwilling to answer phones without being specifically requested. Management/owners were too intrusive and always needed to be "right".

Apparently when there's no work going on you get scrutinized for not doing anything. This company is a joke. They don't train well and is unorganized. The management is potheads and the smoke inside. They don't care about anyone. Don't waste your time here

This place is trash. Management don't care. No training and smoking in the offices and shops. Except you to know things when no training involved. They disgruntled when people refuse unsafe work
