Cyclone Plumbing & Heating

Cyclone is an alright place to work. The wage is fair, and there is room and opportunity for advancement and learning. The highlight was the managers, who did a great job supporting everyone and working to solve issues that we ran into. The worst part was a serious amount of uncompensated overtime - employees were expected to work additional hours almost every day without extra overtime pay, and often assigned more work than could be realistically completed in the time allotted.

Good company and people to work for 
I was a subcontractor and always had material and good supervisors to check out the work and jobs to be done.
Good comunication with supervisors and builders.
Good pay for subcontractors.
Wish there was a bit more work 
Your basic day as a plumber material was delivered on time ,supervisors let you know what to look forward to for your day.

Joined here with 10 years experience in another trade, Management and coworkers have been very understanding as Im learning this new trade. 

Not alot of negatives I can say here, Long hours expect long hours. Otherwise great place to work and I hope I can make a long career work out here.

This company is a revolving door, within my 3 months I saw most staff leave. Also the boss will promise full time hours.. but that’s not the case. Save yourself the grief, and keep looking. I also was let go for no reason, the day of my 3 months… so there you go.. just another company looking for cheap labour. 

Cyclone Plumbing was a fantastic Company for me to start with just getting out of School. I was able to work closely with the full-time bookkeeper there. She taught me so much on Simply Accounting and Excel as she was very experienced in both programs. I loved that the more I learned the more work was given to me. Leaving this Company was very hard to do.

A good steady construction plumbing outfit that services the calgary area.
Working for the company was very routine and consistent.They have a fully stocked shop and on site delivery of materials.

Hr was oblivious, management was clueless and careless as to the employees well being. The owner is a greedy Man who couldn’t give two thoughts about the workers. The management just won’t care about you and will do anything to save themselves the work and will tell you anything to make you shut up and “get it done”.

I would tell everyone that they don’t pay OT even if you work it , if the manager likes you get  good jobs If not they make you want to quit  just stay away unless you in joy getting treated like dirt

It’s a workplace that is filled with gossip and discrimination, they don’t provide adequate training or sufficient staffing they don’t have any programs in place for team building 

You get lots of freedom to do your own jobs for the day but its not rewarding. No room for growth or wage increases. Not a super social place but if you like to just clock in, do a final/ waterline and clock out then its pretty easy going
