In the property management business, you are looking to deal with a new challenge everyday. It keeps the ball rolling and hones your skills everyday. It has taught me how to take initiative and excel in everything you do. A work day includes independent work as well coordinating with other members of the team. 
The most difficult part is coordinating a huge project over different departments and making sure that all info is communicated properly The most enjoyable parts are the daily challenges and the variety of them. Each one of them is unique in its own way and pushes you to excel as you resolve each one of them

Good place to work with positive attitude. There is a disconnect between head office/ district Manager and site staff. District manager only communicates and give feedback to PM but not the rest of the team. Therefore they would never know who is actually contributing to the success at the site. Too much work load and can be pretty stressful at time. If the pay was high than you can bear the stress. Also they stopped doing any social events so you do not get to know your colleagues other than the site staff. 

I found dealing with people and giving excellent customer service to be the most satisfying aspect of property management,  working with Board of Directors and on site employees to move a property in a positive direction and create long term relationships is also gratifying.
I do not believe a 9-5 mentality is suitable for todays fast paced work environment, nor can it bring the results required to be successful in todays workforce.

A typical day of work consists of answering phones, taking messages, preparing tender comparisons of various quotes/contracts. Completing Building Inspections and creating reports for the Property Manager/Board of Directors.

My Co-workers are a lot of fun to work with. 

The hardest part of the job is balancing 4 different Condo's(2 residential and 2 commercial) and keeping up with what's going on and what has to be done.

I am always thankful to DEL Property Management to give me opportunity to work and learn Facility Management. I will not be here without the trust of DEL senior management. We were provided learning and wonderful experience opportunities. I received support and encouragement after moving to other organizations.

Challenging job.  They continually innovate to get deeper insights about employee experience, they analyze what is driving employee engagement, and understand which improvements are needed. This is not a culture of backstabbing or playing politics, and talent is rewarded. Leaders maintain a positive culture and tone, even during big challenges.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The best support group with monthly seminar for new people and refresh courses for those with experience. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I wasn’t there long enough to experience stress

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Attend to owners inquiries and deal either contractors

Great learning experience in HVAC and multitasking of the many operating systems in building maintenance. Enjoyed dealing with so many people. Fun working with ones hands in correcting maintenance issues.

Oversaw management of about twenty condominiums. Worked a full day and then was expected to attend twenty Condo Board meetings a month in the evenings.Compensation was not good. Left in about ten months. My mistake in accepting the position.

Great team, supportive management, many growth opportunity, respectful and a lot to learn and develop your knowledge and experience.
