What is the best part of working at the company?
Being alone in your delivery van and not having to deal with all the idiots you work with.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Working with the dispatchers' and managers' friends that do nothing but whine about what life owes them.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Some of the employees put in about 40% effort. If you're not a friend of the dispatcher and manager you'll have to work extra hard and longer shifts so the chosen few can disappear for three hour lunches. It's demoralizing to be witness to the favoritism.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Load up, make deliveries, work ten or eleven hour days and do twice the work of some of the others.

I worked with this company almost 2 and it was a very positive experience. They have a great team here and the management is great, always willing to help and listen to any concerns we have. Lots of free lunches, git cards and other bonuses. Extended vacations were allowed even in my first year of employment. Every month $2000 is given away for safe driving awards. Out on the road customers are always happy to see you to get their Amazon packages. 

This is not a good job if you are out of shape or not able to work in cold or hot weather conditions. Seems like every day Amazon tries to add more packages to the routes. When I started I would deliver around 100 packages, now drivers have around 200. I don't like taking breaks but they will force you to take 1 hour of breaks throughout the day.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Everyone is very helpful, I’ve been able to make very good hrs here. Up wards of 100hrs biweekly pay-check. They accommodate their workers and wage with benefits right away. Grate company that takes care of their workers and community 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Nanaimo traffic and  weather. Having a great start to the day is key make first delivery’s as soon as possible

I worked for Danfoss for 2 years. In that time I received 2 raises and got bonuses 4 times. I got driver of the month award for 400 bucks. They would also give out gift cards and buy food for the drivers once in awhile. 

The job itself is fairly easy as long as you keep moving as the deliveries are all close to each other. Dispatch and Amazon will keep a close eye on you to make sure you are keeping up to their pace. If you get finished early they will expect you to help out drivers who are running behind. Usually you will get around 150 packages to deliver.

 It can be fairly tough on rainy days or cold days if you don't wear appropriate clothing.

Highly organised environment under the expert and professional supervision of well experienced manager.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Jobs are time sensitive and managing that in traffic is sometimes stressful but that is the least one should expect and most probably get when taking any job related to transportation

Organised, friendly and timely managed. Everyone is treated with equal respect.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Delivering loads according to the times lots scheduled for the day.

i worked for Danfoss in naniamo and it was the most stressful job ive ever had and the worst management ive ever seen. DO NOT RECOMMEND WORKING HERE. Huge turnaround rate so everyone is still fairly new and no one gets proper training. i had never operated a 5 ton box truck in my life and i got thrown in to the drivers seat with about 20 mins of training. Trucks were older and beat up which caused lots of issues/breakdowns on the road. the most enjoyable part of the day was clocking out and gong home.

I needed a job in a pinch and applied to Dan Foss on a whim despite never having done a delivery job before. The hiring process was quick, smooth, and 5 months later, very much enjoying it.

The days to work are flexible, and the guaranteed 8 hour shift pay is very nice on the odd day you finish in 6-7hrs. Overtime is frequent, and I have very much enjoyed working for them. Great and understanding management. Very independent job in nature. An ideal "filler" job, I would say. 

Main downside is it's a commute for many people being based close to the Airport.

This is by far the worst management under which I have worked. I was working for a very reputed company before I received a better offer from Danfoss. Local dispatch has zero knowledge about things going on there and can drag you into trouble. Two months later, when I went to work all of a sudden without any prior notice , they asked me to quit work without any reason. Please do not accept any job offer from this company unless you are looking at just a 2-3 month job.

They pay extremely less with lots of stress. The manager and dispatchers are very rude and careless. they keep pushing you all the time to work hard. I used to finish my deliveries in four hours and then they asked me to help other drivers etc... they don't give compliments and no raises. I worked four times more harder than all the drivers but I was paid the same.
