Working at Daughters on Call has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me as a care worker. The management team truly values both staff and residents, creating a supportive and positive environment where everyone feels respected and appreciated.
The training and resources provided ensure that we can deliver the highest standard of care to our residents. I am proud to be part of a team that goes above and beyond to make sure every individual feels safe, comfortable, and valued. We work closely with families to understand each resident’s unique needs and preferences, which helps us provide personalized care and build meaningful relationships.
What I love most about working here is the sense of community. The staff support one another, and there is always encouragement to grow professionally. Seeing the smiles on our residents’ faces and knowing I make a difference in their lives every day is truly fulfilling.
I highly recommend Daughters on Call not only as a wonderful place for elderly care but also as a fantastic workplace for anyone passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others.

The whole time I worked there I was treated poorly by management. I would work 7am to 7pm with weird breaks through the day and only get paid for 8 hours. The management was constantly belittling. I was able to have no work life balance and spent months burnt out. They did not allow me to call in sick when I had been a close contact for COVID and I saw clients while waiting on a test result. I would say I couldn’t work certain times and they would still schedule me to work them. The schedule would change without notice or being told about it. I would not recommend working here to anyone.

Staff welfare is not important, and there is no room for growth.
The managers are not properly trained that works with the clients, and there is no insurance if anything happens to you on the job.

The boss and Managers are very vindictive, and very prejudice. They smile i your face and kill you behind your back, very toxic work environment. Workers are afraid to speak up in fair of being fired.

The hardest part of the job is being in fair all the time

Was relocated temporarily with no extra pay or support. Was expected to work non stop for nothing. Cameras constantly on evaluating staff instead of the actual use for resident protection. Being micromanaged left you feeling not respected or trusted. 

Hire people because the owner is desperate for staff. Treat employees horrible, office staff is understaffed and overwhelmed. Constant back stabbing coming from owner. Wage is horrible and there is never enough food in the homes for the clients. Never ending turn over in staff. 

Lovely, caring and the owner is a kind and maturing person

Daughter on Call is a place I would like to work again when opportunity comes.

I wouldn’t recommend this job to anyone. The management don’t care about staff. They cut down your hours without notice as a form of punishment. They Pay peanuts to their staff. 

The way they were managing the staff was very poor. The way they spoke to staff was unprofessional. They always made scheduling errors and payment errors. 

They provide healthy environment for the residents and staff and they have good work ethics. The company has been really good to me and helped me develop my level of confidence.

Just be careful what you sign up for. Loved the residentsand the job itself just not the hours. And the pay, it’s hard to live on only $13hr and in healthcare, hats wayyyyy under paid
