The worst part about the job was the smell of raw fish and their guts everywhere and sometimes the cold. Depending on where they put you would change the day. Some stations were not as hard or as tiring as others. Most of the workers there didn't know English which wasn't a big deal it would just cause minor inconveniences which wasn't a big deal. You are handling fish the whole time and the smell will rub off on you and sometimes the fish guts might find its way into your clothing or your boots which was always nasty. I worked there as a seasonal worker for the summer and it was alright once I got used to it.

I worked here for over 10 years and It’s always cold, wet, noisy machinery and could be very smelly during summer time coz of fish debris rotting in drains. Some Blast freezers and freezing tunnels smells ammonia when in use. 
It used to be pretty generous company way back as we get BBQ at least once a year and gift cards during the holiday season, now it’s all gone and the management is transitioning into a new set of leaders which ending up unto letting go of a lot of very good workers which have been in the company for over 20 years. Favouritism and politics runs in this place and no matter how hard working you are the management will only see those who talks more and work less. 

This was one of my earlier jobs, though not the first. I have built a good amount of muscle and improved my hygiene due to the cleanliness requirements in the fish factory. My co-workers, though a bunch of introverts, I begin conversations with them and hit off very well. The hardest part is the long hours and the mental strength required for the job. There was no particular part of the job that stood out as enjoyable.

Easy 8 hours shift most of the time but depends on which station you will be working. It's a huge fish processing plant with segregated processing lines. It could be very cold in winter and you need a good rubber boot and coat. Very diverse culture, management are very supportive,  staff are friendly but there's no work place that is perfect so expect some downsides. 

A lot of politics in the management, though I suppose that's standard these days. Saying X to your face, but Y behind your back even if you're just doing your job.
Underpaid millwrights, but engineers are paid relatively fairly (considering they're not on an averaging agreement).
Place has been a revolving door lately and can't hold employees, understaffed maint and engineers atm.

Very old company with average benefits and below market salary
Almost everyone experience maintenance people left the company because of poor management 
The hardest part of the job is no any skilled maintenance workers 
Company does not give overtime but instead they are calling agency workers so save overtime 

My father was the Quality Assurance manager at the plant and thought the experience would be good for me. It was. I quickly grasped the workings of daily plant protocol and received greater responsibility by the time I had left than when I had started

In my opinion the work environment is very cold and very fast pace. as you work you do receive three breaks through out an 8 hour shift. the breaks come in handy for those who tire out fast.

i had some great times and some bad times working for delta pacific seafood i only didnt like how the people were separated from different ethnic groups and also the line supervisors would yell most of the time instead of working

Can be very cold and wet. Fast paced makes it go faster but still very cold and wet. Coworkers were friendly. Injuries are not taken seriously and benefits will be withheld
