Working at Denray Tire offers a steady routine where a typical day involves servicing vehicles, assisting customers, and staying on top of tire repairs and replacements. Through this work, I learned strong hands-on technical skills, better problem-solving, and how to work efficiently under pressure. Management is generally supportive and keeps operations organized, though the fast pace can sometimes make communication challenging. The workplace culture is team-oriented, with coworkers who are willing to help each other out and a shared focus on getting customers back on the road quickly.

The hardest part of the job is handling physically demanding tasks and balancing multiple service requests during busy periods. Despite that, the most enjoyable part is the sense of accomplishment after completing a tough job and seeing satisfied customers. Overall, Denray Tire provides a solid work environment for building mechanical skills and teamwork.

I was responsible for opening the store and getting ready for the first customer of the day. I learnt how to operate computer software responsible in the retail tire industry, and what the requirements are to price and sell the proper tires to a customer. Management was around, but you were usually left on your own to do your job. My co-workers were excellent and team oriented. The hardest part of my job would be to understand the heavy truck tire lines. The most enjoyable part of my job was when you had started from start to finish with a customer, providing them and installing the proper line of tires for their application.

Before working here I had a totally different view of this place. Unfortunately after working here you see how sugar coated things really are. It’s unfortunate more training and more safety precautions are not observed here as things are very much not how they appear. Staff are belittled and made to feel bad for asking questions. Ownership is not around very often and does not get to see things operate aside from the few days a year when they are around and things are sugar coated extensively. A lot goes on that does not meet the eye and overhaul in many areas of this place would be a very good and much needed
thing to say the least.

The days fly by. Working with customers and problem solving their tire/mechanical needs, and problem solving with our internal team on how to look after all the work. We always have tasks to complete. Priority management is key to this industry and working with customers and building relationships makes it very personable and worthwhile. The most enjoyable part is the interaction with the team, management, and clients when everything is clicking on all cylinders. The hardest part of the job is the constant challenges thrown at you. 

Not a recommended place to work to say the least. This may possibly be the most toxic place I have ever worked for. I rather not get into detail but I cannot stress enough the need to stay away from employment here or even giving them business in general. How they get away with all the malpractices is beyond me. A lot of shadiness and I wouldn’t recommend having your car worked on here.

Working here will challenge you as an individual to put your best work forward. The opportunities at Denray are immense for the future. Great group of individuals to work with. Need to be able to work as a team and work with management. Denray is a family run business that can compete with the big dogs in the tire industry. It’s exciting to see what the future holds.

My job is always interesting and different every day. The people are all great to work with. It really says something when you come in in the morning and the staff are smiling. 

Fabulous place to work, family owned and operated which makes you feel like your not just another number. Consistent, challenging and fun place to work. Great management and great techs who are well trained and get the job done with great enthusiasm. Great team building environment all the staff are great. Would work here again in a heart beat. 

A great place to learn an important facet of the trucking industry.  Hands on learning with guidance and support from teammates and management makes for an interesting and enjoyable day of work.
