Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa

Loved my summer working here. I worked front desk and night audit.
Most of the guests were wonderful people. You got to meet people from all over.
There were many staff events and night audit staff got free meals provided to them. There was also a staff cafeteria where you could get discountef meals. 
All of the other staff were great to work with as well.
10/10 would recommend working a summer here. 
They are open year round now so you could work here all year if you wanted to.

Always friendly people as i walk into the hotel. I learned i learned how to be a team player also multitasking. Tge management are alway there to help in any situation. i enjoy meeting all of the new employees year after year. Hardest part of the job is leaving at the end of the season. I Enjoy making the guests feel at home and making there stay as enjoyable as possible.

Digby Pines is NOT a great career choice as Management does not accept suggestions or criticisms well. They make a point of demoting, belittling and generally bullying employees who speak up - even if those ideas and thoughts are sincere in trying to improve conditions. Safety on the job is not practiced diligently and when injuries occur, the employee is treated as a slacker just looking for time off.

I feel more at home, more comfortable, more in control and more supported than I ever have before. Management genuinely cares for my growth, both professionally and personally. I just started and I have not heard any grumbling about management or the company or even the co-workers.

They'll hire you then fire you after season, even though they said they'd hire you back. No I winter equipment even though it was promised, so you're working on freezing temperatures without proper gear. Terrible pay and management is full of rude and ignorant people. 

Good place to work.  Management team is a working management and are fair.  The biggest con is that the seasonal job is getting shorter and does not provide enough weeks or hours to help carry through the winter.  Pay could be higher for long term employees.

I liked this position because our guests were not only with us for one meal they stayed with us and a lot of them returned daily until they left the property, so it was nice to be able to build relationships with the customers and improve the quality of their stay.

The new management does not listen to the employees' concerns. 
They prioritize their own approach over collaboration. 
Since the arrival of the new management, many colleagues have left. It seems like they only care about financial gains, disregarding the well-being and difficulties faced by others.

Management spent most their time talking trash about me because my health condition they knew about before hiring me back for my second year, and was incredibly rude the whole season, wouldn’t work with my doctors or health

Worked a summer season doing front desk & it was interesting for sure. Constant guest complains and things going wrong within the management but it was good entertainment knowing I was only here for 6 months
