I was office staff and it was very stressful from every day

stressful and no back up or support from management.

Company pretty laid back site superintendent that I met were really nice

Unorganized is their biggest flaw. Theirs no communication either

Lots of immigrants that can barely speak English 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Typical day they like to pair people in 2s. They do all aspects of building right from the foundation up. Lots of finish carpentry aswell

This company has small company vibes while using state of the art technology to work on important projects. I love the commitment to clients and to delivering projects we can all be proud of. There is such collaboration among teams and opportunities to have your voice heard. Make impact, learn skills, and be part of something special. It is a relaxed environment with a shared focus on delivering great projects for our clients and our communities. 

I really enjoyed my first few months with DORA, and there are some truly great people there; but as the company is growing so is the management which is creating a hierarchal nightmare; and a top heavy company. 

I also witnessed a high turnover in my short time there, which is a word of caution to prospective employees. 

Leads you on saying your going to get pay increases, they never come, upper management just comes to site to drink coffee and watch you half the day, supervised barely supervised site, and you work with some interesting people to say the least. Boss would say rude negative things to workers and apologize over and over again, unorganized.

We worked 8 1/2 hours a day.
Learned teamwork, mentoring, and how to be productive.
Management was always efficient and supportive.
Co-workers were all team players.
The hardest part of the job was lack of steady work.
The best part of the job was learning skills and refining them.

I have worked with several large companies and have never felt so much support and encouragement. I am happy to come to work every day. I have flexibility with my schedule for the perfect work life balance should anything come up with my kids. 

An extremely stressful work place. Expected to work more hours than what you get paid for. Mediocre pay. Managers use their personal feeling about employees as to how they treat the employees. 

Good company to work for. Perks and benefits, make you feel like your more than a number. There was never a typical day at work. Everyday was different, and some days better than others. But, i have the attitude that "at least I'm working".

A wonderful company with wonderful values. Opportunity for growth, cares about employees and committed to community and the environment. Everyday is an opportunity for growth and new challenges. A wonderful team environment.
