Service department employees are worked until they burn out while sales employees can sit back and watch the chaos that occurs. 
Service employees expected to work TEN hour days (sometimes more) with terrible pay. 
You are shut down when asked for a raise (even if you have been there over a year). 
Was employed with Dow for well over 2 years and saw a minimum of 50 plus people come and go from the service department. They are also known for keeping around terrible employees. Lazy and unprofessional people and it usually takes them months and months to finally realize it and get rid of them. 
Advice to management: awknoldge the hard working employees. Have better incentives/offer better pay.  If you want your employees to be loyal to you, be loyal to them. It can really go a long way.

Worked for Dow Honda for 5 years. I have never experienced such a poorly run dealership. Management is so detached from reality that they don't have a clue what is going on day-to-day.

Takes management a minimum 3 months to decide on anything from shop supplies to hiring more staff.

They cannot be taken for their word on anything.

They do not pay overtime.

Their benefits, while somewhat competitive, are still very basic.

Extremely high staff turn-over due to lack of training and low wages.

Working at Dow Honda is great. You have work to do, the staff is friendly and everyone gets along. The customers are excellent and appreciates the extra effort we put into our jobs. It is a rewarding experience and if I had not have priorities in another city, I would not mind working here for the rest of my life.

Management hasn't been good there for a long time and it hasn't change. They will do what they want and not worry about how it affects there employees in the process. It is a very stressful work environment. There are good employees but atmosphere always feels negative. I would highly recommend working elsewhere. 

It is really a great company to work for. It gave me the opportunity to learn about more about the automotive trade and related fields. I would say the company have excellent team of employees that help the company grow and at the same time keep the customer satisfaction at most.

With the new service manager it feels like new place to work.  It’s starting to feel like we matter to management. I’m good to follow this through as this is a great place and a great brand. I feel supported by the manager and the manufacturer and that’s hard to find in this business.

Went through 2 interview and got hired. The beginning of my second week I was let go and told I had inconsistencies on my resume. I was more qualified for the job than the flake they had me working with.

Don’t apply here, this is bad place to work.

They go through employees like crazy ! The dont care about any employees other than the gm and owner . This place will be up for sale shortly just like the  rest of the meirens group.

Worst experience I have ever had as a service advisor. No communication, no structure, no interest in employees.
They let the good ones go for sure!
