It's still a fairly small company so it's A LOT of work for every department, but it's very exciting work, and it's super fun to be building stuff out from scratch. The Executive Team is very experienced and knowledgeable, and they work harder than anyone else. You get to learn a ton just by working alongside them. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, and most people have been working here for years, which speaks to the company culture. There is no micromanagement either - they treat people as adults and accomplished professionals who are trusted to do their job. The most exciting part of this job is that you're not just building a company; you're also shaping the entire industry, while working with extremely talented and intelligent people.

I have been here a few years and worked in 2 different technical departments.  The work is very cool and we are a leader in the industry for sure.  You are always working on new stuff, get to challenge yourself and learn new things.  You don't often get that opportunty to work in a new industry!  No company is perfect, but people here are happy. 
The company, management & culture are very strong, very fair, collaborative and friendly, welcoming to new employees especially.  Like any company you are expected to perform and deliver on your goals.  Underperforming people are coached and helped but if they can't perform then they are weeded out, which is good.
Pay is good, benefits, rrsp, perks are all good.  The treat people well. 
Honest and ethical in what they say and do.  Lots of communications and transparency. 

I have been at DDC for over 2 years and really enjoy working here. I would highly encourage anyone who wants to be part of an innovative team building a new industry to apply for a role at DDC. I get to collaborate with incredibly smart, hard working and dedicated individuals from the the most junior to most senior levels. I really appreciate how everyone (including the leadership) made me feel very welcome and my expertise appreciated from day one. Communication is a priority for management, they encourage participation in meetings and listen and respond to ideas - I do not know of many companies that do that. It is a very respectful environment where innovation flourishes.



 Everyone was super friendly.   Decent pay and benefits considering the company and industry are new, which comes with its own downside of limited customers and tech issues.  Also lots of hype, false marketing and dishonesty.  Although work life balance was great, most days were boring and hard to pass due to lack of work.    Management cares about Engineering only, likely due to founder.   No career advancement, unless you are in engineering.



They are a very top heavy company with the executives/founders earning hundreds of thousands a year while the operations and r/d department get a couple shillings for their blood sweat and tears. They strive for a positive company culture yet are blind (knowingly and unknowingly) to their own poisonous actions. Hopefully they can bolster their high turnover of exceptional talent that comes in by changing some people in the key positions.

Average company to work for. Employees get along and are friendly. Pretty flexible with working hours. Benefits package is average. Only 3 sick days per year.

DDC was a great company to work for! The team was collaborative, people were fantastic, management cared about their employees and did what it tool to keep people happy.

Management is very insensitive  towards employees with erratic  onboarding process which sets you up to fail. No clear goals are established  with a road map to follow.

There are growing pains with start up tech companies but this one has been a great experience thus far. It has a lot a lot of potential in the future of the industry.

Very new company. Most people have no idea what they are doing and what the company is about. Most developed products does not work. Too much marketing and false hype. Huge turnover.
