Not a bad place to work if your not very interested in anything other than making production parts. All programming was done in the office not on the shop floor. Not very interesting place to work. Not a lot to learn as an apprentice. 90 percent CNC shop not much manual experience to be gained.

Welded at Dumur Industries for 9 years. Had big ups and downs over the years, which is fairly typical for manufacturing businesses. Pay was ok although I thought it wasn’t fairly distributed... some people should had made less than others and vice versa. A lot of animosity between department supervisors. Grass typically ain’t to greener on the other side. Overall in general I’d recommend working there.

Depending what area you work in your experience will be different. Did feel supported and also not supported. Tasks that your not trained for or educated in could be placed upon you. It’s a sink or swim kind of a feeling. Which I’m not very comfortable with. Otherwise it’s a good place 

Management is terrible. Everyone seems to get treated the same. The good people don't get recognized. Raises and pay scale isn't good anymore. Used to get good raises and now they're pitiful. Recommended not getting yourself into this company.

I haven't had a great experience with this firm. Since most management staff members and supervisors are uncooperative, they will never help you fully understand your field & refrain you from learning your own area. A large number of workers were laid off last month, and now they are all new hires in the same role.

Good unity with fellow workers. Would hold team building events from time to time. Well sponsored company events. Open to hiring both male or female workers.

Dumur is going threw a transition period. the company has lost half it's work force over the past year.. co-workers and supervisors are excellent..management could use the restructuring as well as money put into machines in dire need of repair....

Top management is not good but where I work that department management was awesome. Top management always thinking money oriented policies to save for them.

boring job didnt understand when i went back to school that i didnt want to work while i was attending school. free lunch at the end of the month was very nice always hot lunch usually something everyone liked.

This is an awesome place to work! Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone, just do it!
