During the interview it will be said that the place is one big family. You'll learn at your time there that most of the management only cares about numbers and if you cant meet their expectations you'll be let go. 

You'll find that the plant manager in particular doesn't care about his "family" and is the one who understands the least about what goes on. He'll nitpick you performance when he himself isn't capable of doing the work. If you put your head down and work like a number you'll fit in, but don't expect compensation if you go above and beyond.

I worked there for over a year and found better pay and hours elsewhere. I reccommend doing the same.

Duststop is a great place to work all and all .I have been a member of a great team for 8 plus years now . I am making a career switch because i have recently purchased a home in Windsor .i am now looking in the Windsor reign for similar employment.If it was not for this I would be happy to stay as they want me to. However life has pulled me to Windsor with no hard feelings or regrets. Duststop is a nice clean place to work with a light atmosphere and i thank them for everything they have done and gave to me over the fun filled years.

Very easy job to learn and the day to day work was not difficult.There wasnt too much to learn but with the help of the employees i and management i found it very easy to understand things quickly. The days were not long and it was easy to stay in the factory due to the air conditioned environment. The hardest part of the job was the repetitiveness of the work but thats just part of working in factory lines. Overall i would recommend the job to anyone looking for a short term employment with steady work and pay.

Management only cares about meeting production targets. They don’t care about people or product quality. They hire then lay you off and then rehire you again, very unpredictable and not secure employment. Only work here if you are desperate. I will never buy their filters after working here. 

All the people who have been there for years are lazy and put all the work on new people, then when they complain, they make up fake complaints and stories to get you fired...the supervisor treats people with favoritism and the manager believes every lie hes told by the supervisor.  H8man resources is same

Not a high paying job and they are demanding high rates of production at a fast pace. Management can be very annoying , pushy and demanding. Lots of good people work there and don’t get the credit they deserve. Non union and random lay offs can happen at a drop of a hat with little notice.

The people you work with on a daily basis are great. There is really bad favouritism with the supervisor and a few of the employees there. Management is good, but little communication about lay offs etc. There is also confusion when some employees are being told one thing and others are being told something different.

The Managers only care about the numbers, they don't care about you...at all. Don't forget that! The coworkers are mostly drunks from Petrolia who only work here because it's convenient and most don't drive. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you put you head down and just do the job for the money.

Very fast paced, high turn over rate, high demand for getting out as much product as posssible instead of quality. Changing of scheduled hours, no ergonomics in place, no union present, senority does not matter...

People talk behind your back all the time, no room for advancement, supervisors (especially on day shift) micromanage you all the time, pay is a bit above the minimum wage
