Upper management has turned this company from a great place to work into a place where each employee is just a number. The benefits offered on top of their below par wages are decent. Wages are not performance based and sometimes promotions aren’t either. Not that there is a lot of room for advancement. A decent employee gets more responsibility and no extra money and the appreciation given to front line staff is NIL. Staff are overwhelmed, overworked, under appreciated and underpaid. 
On a good note, E3 is an amazing place to receive support from. They are person centred when it comes to supported persons and this gets even better every day, if and when staffing is available. 
As a long time employee, I feel my expectations as an employee are always increasing but nothing is done to compensate for that. I do, however, see the people who we support being way more in charge of their own lives all the time. 


This agency was fun and involved (activities/events for everybody) until covid 19 hit. Management didn’t put employees concerns first, did what was best for the agency and not for work life balance. Staff expressed concerns with overall health/ mental health. Agency did nothing to provide support or change in schedules to accommodate personal needs. Management would gather info via surveys/ interviews. Manipulated staff into thinking there was going to be change….. there hasn’t been. 

Poorly managed as sometimes homes are understaffed and you run around trying to complete tasks and other times overstaffed and you can watch everyone sip coffee. This company provides little growth opportunities unless you consider "growth" accepting jobs within different homes. Lots of responsibility; cooking, cleaning, dishes, providing care, laundry, computer e-learning work, grocery shopping, providing care, driving individuals to appointments in inclement weather and dealing with behaviors. Not a fun company to work for. Little employee recognition.




Worked there for 6.5 years. Cooked lunch for up to 40 for their Daycare center and up tp 60 in the Life Skills Program. 2 Locations and all diets including textures and allergies.Restructuring resulted in my loss of job; yet nothing else was offered to me in replacement; even though I fully qualified for several positions. I originally began as a Personal Support Worker and helped in 2 of the group homes as well. I was the only cook; responsible for all purchasing; prepping; preparing; serving and clean-up.

Management is poorly trained and therefore does not usually have an understanding of how to support the individuals within the homes. Managers do not listen to the Staff, who know the persons supported well. 12 hour shifts 3 days in a row on weekends will bury you. They say it is a good work life balance but on your days off they expect you to check your emails and harass you to pick up shifts. Agency is so short staffed because of this and leave you short handed and annoyed that you never get time away. 

This place is the worst managed company I have ever worked for. Management does nothing to support staff. You will be asked to do things that are outside of your pay scale and things nurses do. You will be guilted into working over time. Clients supported here get the bare minimum from this company and frequently have issues because this company doesn’t care about the people they support.

I have worked here for 20 plus years and find the interaction with those I serve very rewarding.  The accomplishments over the years have been reason enough to justify my work history. The coworkers are all of varying backgrounds and contribute to the sucess of the organization.

I enjoyed working in a multi-staffed residential setting so there was freedom to take clients in the community. There is some colleagues who have a very poor attitude and cliquey, but I worked relief at multiple locations so there were options of locations. Pay was decent. 
Management has changed so I

Stressful, but rewarding work environment. Individuals committed to supporting individuals under the Non-Profit Corporation Umbrella. 
Under new management and direction is being established.

many co workers are aggressive, bossy, controlling and gossip behind co workers backs. Management does not help with this situation. Management often does not return emails. All in all it is a terrible organization with lots of "systems" in place that they do not actually follow.
