Ive been working at Ebco for about a year. I find it a challenging place to work as the projects are changing all the time, some are massive projects and some are small intricate parts, so there is not a one size fits all solution. But we all work together to provide the best solutions as possible to our clients. As it is a job shop, we are a bit separated from the shop floor personnel (whom are placed on the floor) with the office folk (who are in the offices), so I cant say I know all my coworkers which is a shame, but I do bump into them in the cafeteria that is within ebco. This café is also handy when you’ve forgotten your lunch, and there are loads of good restaurants in Richmond if you want to go out. Flexible working hours which is appreciated and a social club which holds different events throughout the year, paintballing being one of my favourites!

There's 3 depts, welding is a good place to work and assembly, European people & their attitudes make it difficult to work as a team. poor management.

At the time I worked there, working the three shifts on a 2 week rotation was tough, but ok once into it. On the Graveyards, and possibly afternoons we were given a meal allowance, which sure helped. Also the boot allowance was really appreciated. So overall, I could say that I was proud to work there for EBCO Industries. It was mostly heavy duty.

Very poorly managed and do not value employees.  Revolving door of employees. Expect to be laid off if work slows down.  Outdated equipment and practices.  Poor workplace culture.  Not an enjoyable place to work.

I was depressed every day I was there. I felt unsafe and proper training was not given. The worst.job I've ever had.im surprised I lasted for almost 1 year.

organized and an overall great place to work with consideration to family schedules etc. The pay was good and the workers around were very attentive to each others safety and well being

love working here. always challenging and a different project. demanding but fun. management expects you to work hard but seeing all the different types of work that comes through is fun. 

It's a unionized metal fabrication/machining production facility. The people working there are alright. They have a few employee appreciation days a year, their birthday and Christmas. Did i mention the onsite caff?

Poorly run and managed - lack of knowledge of overall business model and capabilities.  Vast divide between Upper Management and Operations.   Generally, employees not valued.  Hostile work environment enabled.
