What is the best part of working at the company?
Customers are friendly and the Truckers are polite with a great sense of humor. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management has no respect for the employees, no one covers washroom breaks, no breaks or lunch, you eat at the cash when you have time

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
No team players, everyone only thinks of themselves. Poor management has caused a toxic work environment 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Guaranteed if you didn't do something your last shift it's still not done when you come back. Same people that does everything.

I enjoyed working at The Esso Gas Bar I learned a lot of skills in customer service, and had an amazing time meeting new people and extending my social skills. I am leaving Esso because my present employer has sold the gas bar and new owners are taking over. I have decided that it is time for me to take on new responsibility and find a job that will extend my education in other areas.

Overall it is a nice place to work but sometimes can be stressful.   If the hours could be the same every week would be great.  We have yo wait until Sunday to find out when we are working. Kind of hard to workout your personal and professional life.

Worked with friendly people. Hours were difficult as opening was 5AM. On days off I had little socializing because the time was taken to recover from early openings.

Always busy, open 24/7. Good hours . Learned alot about customer service at this job position, enjoyed working there. if your looking for a job that is fast paced, this job is for you.

Allowed me to enhance my skills when dealing with customers and learning new equipment within the job site. Had to deal with new situations on a daily when it came to the automatic and manual car wash, propane pump and the gas pumps.

Working at Esso gas bar was my first job when I was 16yrs old. I loved it and the community that I was serving everyday was pretty friendly, I recommand it!

This company is by far the best company I have ever worked for, the management staff is great, the employees are great. also the district managers are also very nice and are always willing to help you when you need them.

I worked for Esso for the last 3 years and found it to be a fun exciting environment to work in. The manager Stashia is just the best. She was the main reason I worked there for 3 years.

Amazing place to work, friendly staff and flexible hours. Great understanding management. Great learning opportunities. Usually busy and a steady pace job.
