EURO-RITE CABINETS

I worked in the shipping department for the majority of my employment.
Typical work day starts at 7am and ends at 330pm. 
EuroRite provides a healthy work/life balance with set shift times and lots of opportunity for overtime hours. The managers are fair, reasonable people and it is easy to maintain a positive relationship with them providing you show up on time ready to work, avoid cellphone use during work hours and put effort into your daily tasks. Co-workers are easy to get along with and workplace conflicts rarely occur. 
However, in some departments there supervisors (group leaders) who were wrongly chosen for the position they're currently in and have the potential to make your work days not very enjoyable under their leadership, (shipping and assembly in particular). 
Management deals with conflicts relatively well but in my experience, I have noticed sometimes the inadequate supervisors tend to sway the outcomes and decisions with their seniority. 
Otherwise working conditions are reasonable. The staff lounge is well equipped with large refrigerators, Wi-Fi, AC, microwaves and a TV. 
Every once in a while they will provide a free lunch and some other employee perks. The staff benefits package is sufficient though I didn't use it much.

Started out as a packager. I would put cabinet parts in a box, strap it, stack it on a pallet and shrink wrap for shipping.

Worked on the production line - Feed cabinet parts in a machine to get edge tapped or drilled. Also stay on the end of the machine to stack the parts on a board to send it to the next process

Worked on the Projects line - Assemble cabinets on a line, quality control the built cabinets, wrap on the wrapping machine and load into a trailer.

First place I worked and I started when I was 16. I developed a proper working mentality

hardest part of the job is the repetitive labor and when something goes wrong or a machine breaks down.

The most enjoyable part of the job was being exposed to a working environment and working with others. I had a great time working with all my co workers

Really enjoyed working nightshift here until the company was bought. New management doesnt know how to run a business and constantly lie to employees making reaching goals nearly impossible. Cant even keep basic raw materials consistently in stock. 

Nightshift coworkers were amazing and positive and the best part of the job. Communication between the day and night shift poor and often would get two or three different objectives for the night. 

Overall I would not recommend Eurorite anymore due to new owners, EBSU, running this company into the ground 

I worked here for a very short time but I enjoyed my time. The manager is excellent and treats everyone fairly. This goes all the way to the top. The CEO of the company was the one that personally handed out a card to me and followed up with me later when I was working on the shop floor. There is room for advancement at this company and the work is evenly paced and great for those who want to work in a fast pace environment with realistic deadlines. The days go by quickly.

Mean spirited supervisor that tells you that you do not want to be there.  love being there with great coworkers, very friendly, helpful and supportive. however, supervisor that continually bullies and makes your job miserable is the problem. he runs the place like  a military camp. zero people skills. management does nothing about this person. do not work in assembly that is where this supervisor is.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Quick advancement , they went through alot of employees.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management didn't want any input from employees about any changes, they just did things that didn't work.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It okay if you keep your head down and do your job. Can be frustrating.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Start at 3:30 pm, work hard with alot of heavy lifting till 2 am Monday to Thursday.

If I have any advice that I can provide to the team there it is to start looking at the reason for in inefficiencies and save what they have left. Re arranging the Plant every 6 months is NOT the answer paying attention to the long term staff that take advantage of the fact is. Fix that and it will once again be a success.

I worked at Euro-Rite Cabinets as a cabinet assembler for almost 2 years. I gained good knowledge of the cabinet business and met lots of good people. Working hard and efficiently  pays off but sometimes expectations can be set too high. Would recommend this job to people who are looking for a consistent and steady job with good pay and benefits.

Very poor management skills.
People are not hired in leader positions, supervisor, and management positions based on experience. 
It's purely based on favoritism.
That's why a lot of everything  isn't organized properly or dealt with properly.

Like all new beginnings your all gung hoe, but you later become disappointed with management & there decisions. But otherwise a steady job, can advance quickly if you work hard. Huge turn over, not for everyone.
It would be great if they have better communication with the the family because we are "1".
