Eagle Ridge Hospital

I am a passionate nurse (LPN). A typical day at work includes having about 5-6 patients every shift and performing a head to toe assessment and monitoring my patients' status. Administering medications to the desired patients is a part of my job also. When I work at Eagle Ridge Hospital I admire how our interdisciplinary team works as a whole; teamwork is key. Everyone helps each other with given tasks. Assisting patients with activities throughout the day and helping patients to be time with their appointments (i.e. physio, breast cancer clinic) is also a part of my job. The hardest part of my job for me would be time management. Trying to finish all the tasks and documentation on time is always a bit tricky; however, I have improved tremendously with all the experience at Eagle Ridge Hospital. The most enjoyable part of my job would have to be when I see how appreciative the patient and the patient's family are for all the help that the interdisciplinary team provides. It's amazing to know that I have such a rewarding job, to see patients go home happy and better.

Once a week, wayfairer for Entrance of Hospital and later for Daycare Sugeries, Lab, X-ray, Physio, Directions for lost visitors.

Already understood movement of people in all aspects of hospital visits, care, surgeries.  Volunteering here in hopes of being hired by Eagle Ridge Hospital for familiar Admitting Clerk duties.  

I loved the hospital pace and admire all staff and wish I was a part of the group again.

I felt that if I put into Volunteering my time for one year that I would have had an opportunity to re-establish myself in at least a Part time or Full time job in Patient Registration at Eagle Ridge; after I worked for 25 years in that position in another hospital facility and loved the job.  It was extremely disappointing and non productive year for me.

Enjoy working at Eagle Ridge. For the most part the people are helpful and try to maintain a professional environment. You do have some rotten apples.

Eagle ridge hospital provided me an opportunity to work in surgical unit as a student nurse. I have learned a lot working there about surgical clients. I appreciate, the working atmosphere and nursing team with who i got the chance to work with. They provided a quality care to clients.

I am casual-on call position at Eagle Ridge in Registration as well as Health Records.
Working in main registration during the day and Emergency registration either days, evenings or weekends.

I really enjoyed doing my acute care Practical Nursing clinical at this facility. The staff was very helpful and the facility was run very smoothly with good teamwork and workplace morale.

great work place and co-workers, high work load, very difficult to reach the management, the good quality researches, weak follow ups with the staff requirements of the managements

Friendly, respectful and approachable staff. Great Rehabilitation Team! Every Thursday someone from the rehab team makes a soup and they all eat it together!
