I’ve had a fantastic experience working at Earthscape Play. The company fosters a collaborative team environment where ideas are shared freely, and everyone is encouraged to contribute. The autonomy in my role has been a key highlight, allowing me to take ownership of projects and make impactful decisions. Prepare to be frustrated like you wouldn't believe, hitting your head against the wall trying to talk common sense into management. Sure they make cool playgrounds but at the cost of personal safety and integrity. They care more about profit then any kind of safety. They fire people on the regular with no cause not due to work but due to personal opinions not related to any work. Need fall arrest in the shop? Better shut up and stand on top of a tower of scaffold with no tie off and do your job.

The company pays on time and provides benefits, which is a plus. 

Fairly awkward place to work if you are not already a recognized community member from one of the small townships surrounding the company's rural office. I've seen this affect the job security of past employees. 

School-yard masculine behavior is the norm among management. Inappropriate comments from top-level individuals are met with laughter and not criticism. 

Their updated facility is pretty neat to work in.

Great team of people to work with! I have never worked for a company that puts this much effort into striving to do better (in the work they do and in the workplace culture). I’m impressed with the transparency of management – open about financials, collaborative decision making, and open communication throughout the organization. Also, the work/life balance was one of the main draws for me coming to work here.

Been with the company several years, grateful for each of them.  What I like best about this place is how it attracts people that recognize their own values within the place they work.  I care about accountability, team based problem solving, admitting mistakes and personal obligations.  Working at a company that holds similar values makes it special.  I can appreciate how it’s an environment not made for every last personality but for those whom is resonates with it’s exciting and worth it.

Meetings, followed by more meetings.

Fun projects, first class tools and equipment, 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Regularly watching colleagues get fired w/o cause for reasons never explained to staff or the newly disposed of employee.
An amazing beehive of family run nepotism.

You're either in and you know it.  Or you're not, and you won't know it until you get sacked by surprise.

Earthscape Play provides fun, challenging work that brings out the best in everyone. The management, especially both partners, is excellent—they believed in me, supported me, and helped me succeed in my role. Their leadership fosters creativity, teamwork, and a positive work environment. It’s a place where hard work is recognized, and employees feel truly valued.

The management is very unstructured leaving room for miscommunication and poor planning. It is not uncommon to be missing parts for a project or to be given poor instruction. The culture is extremely similar to that of a high school, you have to be friends with the right people if you want to get ahead. I suggest working here if you’re interested in being uncomfortable at your job everyday.

Great company to work for management takes care of all their employees.  Want to learn and have great people to work with in the  landscape industy this is your place.
They have fantastic designers and no shortage or work so be ready to work on amazing projects ... excellent benefits with great pay.  Full time employees will get winter work with no oncall snow plowing
