Eastalta Co-op

Eastalta Co-op was a fun place to work, I enjoyed working in the public and meeting all kinds of people. However, management had difficulties with employees and I felt I undertook many responsibilities and far too many hours as a full time student. I learned that I can manage my time very wisely when the situation calls for it. I also learned to deal with very confrontational customers quite well. The hardest part of the job was feeling like I was taking on too much and at the same time being under appreciated for the work I was doing.

I typical day would be putting stocking shelves with products, helping customers find what they were looking for. I learned that a store can be very busy and challenging at times. I learned various parts of store management and new challenges. The most enjoyable part of the job was making new friends, helping people and learning that one has the potential to succeed with the ability of co-workers

A typical day working in the Admin office was generally a lot of work
A stressful position as all stores in the co-op was sent to our office for approval and summaries. So a days work needed to be completed that day there were no extensions, Deadlines needed to be met. 
Really enjoyed working with the staff and management.

Working with the local community

I enjoyed working at the coop gas bar in Vermilion. I liked my coworkers and my bosses and I liked the customers. I was given added responsibilities such as paperwork and it made me feel important

nice place to work if the changeover isn't high within upper management.

I learned a lot from CO-OP
I learned how to be independent on work and manage my time.
It is tiring but enjoy being part of this company.
