I have been employed with the Eastside Group of Companies for well over 13 years.  From the moment of the interview until present day, I have felt like a part of the family here at Eastside.  Starting in an entry level position, I learned each position in the front office, and eventually moved into management.  If you are looking for a career over a job, Eastside provides each employee the potential to grow within the Company and learn many new skills.  And, if you want to enjoy your days while having to work then Eastside is the place to be!  

Over the past 8 months I have had the privilege of working with both the leadership team and front line management regarding their HR needs. The team truly puts a tremendous amount of effort into ensuring that they are providing their people with a truly amazing employee experience. In addition to this, they are always looking at ways to improve operational process and develop their leaders. 

I truly enjoy working with the Eastside Group of Companies team and look forward to many more years of collaboration.  

Never a dull moment, and between the co-workers and management there really has a family feel! It does get quite busy at times, but that helps the day go by quickly. Everyone seems to enjoy the leadership team here, they can be forward, but that just illustrates honesty and transparency I think. 

Got told by management that people felt uncomfortable with me using the male bathroom, a year and 4 months after I started working there. That outed me as “different” and I was very disappointed and upset that happened to me, at a factory… AGAIN

You will be told that there is room for advancement, but they are so desperate to hire people because not many people last long, that they will feed you lies just to get you in board. Women are not equal to men here, and they make us feel like incompetent children when they have no idea what we actually do. 

I've worked at Eastside over 5 years now.  It's always been a place that has given me an opportunity to learn new skills and be a part of a great team.  I really appreciate how they have been fair with me and allowed me to grow.  Thank you Eastside!

Lots to learn along with friendly coworkers. Sense of humour and initiative goes a long way to enjoy work. Some areas are laid back, and some are demanding on the body. Pay is low however, considering the effort some put to support the company.

Fast Paced Environment. Learned About Painting and how to mix paint. the Management is Okay. Workplace is fine. Hardest part of the job was being exposed to aerosols and hazardous gases but they provided masks.

It's fun when you work with decent people. Management is in the stage of making changes and employees have to put up with it. Otherwise, it just feels like your playing if you like what youre doing
