Edmonton Flyer Force

My job was to give out flyers to assigned houses on my map for every Thursday. There were some houses that do not wish to accept flyers so I chose to accept and have them taken off the subscription list right away. 

What I learnt is to respect each's property at all the time and I must be polite.

I work alone in my area. 

Hardest part is to think if the house still needs the flyers, even if the last 9 flyers were still there. I should had stopped after 3 flyers and asked when they are back. That was my huge regret.

The best part of this job was fresh air.

I'm a former employee and the company culture was horrible. when I was working there they would only hire east Indian people. The east Indians could do whatever they wanted but non east Indians could not. it was hard to understand your co-workers when they are speaking only their language. As for the bosses they would lie and back stab you write you up for frivolous things. The company is a bad company to work for so stay away.

This is possibly the worst job someone can get, even if they're just kids and starting out. You are paid per house, and many people hate you, so they'll opt out of the delivery, and thus you lose money. Almost all of the houses are messed up in some way, depending on your neighborhood, mine had hornet nests and roving dogs.

I have worked at the EFF since April of 1017 as one of its Flyer carriers. I find that the work isn't to hard but they have a tendency to increase work while decreasing pay. Great place to start a career though. Would recommend to Young Adolescents (12-14).

Pay isn't really high as it is about $12.50/week. It's a great starting job for people that are in school and want to make money, or for something to put on their resume. The hardest part of the job would be delivering the flyers. It is easy, but you are exposed to the weather which can make it tougher.

Overall doing flyers was okay, but whenever winter hit around I wasn't really motivated to do it. They also pay by the number of houses you deliver to, not by the hour, which resulted in low pay because they pay around 15 cents per house

It was a okay job but the salary need some agreements upon, the manager was a decent manager she wouldn’t force me to do stuff that I wouldn’t do. I quit that job because of the payment I didn’t think that 60-70$ a MONTH is a good salary

We started my work on there August 2016.There was a  good environment for work but on there the schedule was not fixed.And they did not gave the equal hours to all workers.

Delivering Flyers was one of the toughest things i have ever had to endure. This is because i would have to do it in year long throughout the coldest part of winter and the hottest of summer. But the Character i developed from it is one of the things i am most proud of

Provides good job experience for all ages! Also makes a great summer job for some side cash. I personally had a great manager that was always on time for bundle deliveries. Can become quite difficult to deliver with bad weather though.
