What is the best part of working at the company?

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The management was very corporate and by the book, meaning if you stepped an inch out of line, you would be getting written up or fired on the spot. I was often scared I was going to lose my job, and eventually did.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Lots of employee turnover, but depending on who you were working with, it could be fun. But when the regional manager showed up, everyone had to be walking on eggshells and make sure everything was perfect or else you would be getting a strongly worded complaint

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
If there weren't customers in the store, we would be cleaning, constantly. If you were caught on the floor and you weren't either cleaning, researching new product, or selling to a customer, you could expect a complaint from the manager

If you want to feel like your company doesn’t care about you at all and only cares about their image and making money, then work at eggs! Whether it’s upholding ridiculous expectations on their customers and employees, they like to feel like they are always right. They like to undercut their managers and staff wages while also charging absurd margins on products just so they can turn an extra dollar. One of the most disorganized companies I have ever worked at. They are still following the business structure from when they first opened in 2014, destined to fail. They can’t talk to their staff when they have an issue regarding something they would prefer to just let them go and hire someone new.

The most important thing to me has been growth and opportunity, both of which Eggs provided. I started as a part-time Cannasuer while I attended university, throughout that time they were supportive and understanding with my schedule and always made sure I put my education first. Once I left school I began to work full-time and was promoted to a Team Lead, during which I was provided with ample amounts of training and support from leadership. I gave all of my effort because I loved being there every day, this is in large part because the team in Kelowna is fantastic in every way. My effort there was rewarded and I got the chance to be the company purchaser, which was the most challenging and rewarding opportunity I have had yet. 
The management in Kelowna is top notch and I truly believe it is one of the best places you could work in town.


It has been a pleasure to work for and with the team at Eggs Canna. There is lots of opportunity to grow within the EC group brand. 

Great discount, benefits for team members even with part time hours. Scedule Accommodation to the best of a business's ability, and also gave me the chance to pick up more hours when needed.  
They make the work day fun, running different contests all the time, sales goals and a culture that was easy to fit in with. 
Well organized and the training was really straight forward. I love the professionalism aspect they bring to the table. Shifting the stigma around cannabis. 

Overall I am very pleased I had the chance to work for such a great company. The management gave me the skills and confidence needed to succeed in this cannabis industry. 


Working at a dispensary was much more than I thought it would be. Eggs was professional and structured from my first day to my last. They had a semi-intense training period to ensure we were ready for the tasks to come and always provided more training or support if it was needed. Going to work here at first I assumed it would be like working for my dealer, it couldn't be more opposite. these people were more professional than some other big name stores i've been in. if I had to pick a hardest part of the job i might say upset customers when they weren't happy with their weed but that was never my fault and you can't take it personally. all in all it was a very rewarding job and i will take the memories with me forever.

Loved working here!! I didn't think working at a dispensary would be anything special or out of the ordinary but what an experience. I learned more about cannabis than I ever thought I would, some of that even from customers. Loved getting to meet all the different people every day. We weren't without our 'bad egg' customers but for the most part people were awesome to talk to. I had to leave the company as I was moving, but there was definitely room for growth. Management always tried very hard to form a team that worked well together which is something so important in any job.

I would say the typical day would be chill. The store does get really busy but heck that's where all the fun is right? If you love weed and want to build a career in the industry this company is growing rapidly and there are lots of opportunities. 
Culture is awesome, everybody smokes weed so everybody knows how to chill that's for sure. And everybody shares they're own experiences which are kinda cool 
Over-all a great company if you want to learn anything from cannabis, to business, and everything in between. 


I love working at Eggs Canna. I have been given some pretty cool opportunities with the company. They have always accommodated my schedules, they post job opportunities internally first and have been a great resource for me to learn about the legal cannabis industry (all of my experience was previously on the grey-market).

Great people coupled with great discounts and perks has made this  one of my favorite jobs. I am very excited to continue to grow with the company.

Joined Eggs Canna in 2020. Never worked in cannabis before obviously, but everyone was eager for the team to learn and grow together. I will admit I gained more knowledge during my time here than I probably ever would have learned about weed. Can be stressful, management can get stressed, but I've experience that in almost every job before this one so I'm not all that surprised that stressors exist in a workplace. I dunno, I had fun working here. Great coworkers and pace of work for myself. Maybe it's not for everyone, but definitely for some.

I was hired at Eggs Canna during the pandemic after my restaurant closed. It was an awesome work environment, the owner & managers bought us lunch & treats on a regular basis which was really nice. They went above & beyond to explain the pandemic & ensure we were safe. I smoke weed so it was actually a really cool environment that taught me a lot. Unfortunetly retail doesnt pay the way waitressing does & when my restaurant opened I decided to go back, but I really enjoyed my time there. Great work atmosphere & super fun place to work.
