Elections Nova Scotia

Worked there in the summer as an IO, it was hard on the back and feet but everyone was so nice. It’s a great opportunity for a student or someone looking to make some money. Also good opportunity if you want to learn more about the voting process.

As a trainer for Elections Nova Scotia, I really enjoyed interacting with the candidates for the polling positions.  The Staff at Elections Nova Scotia were very helpful and allowed all the trainers to collaborate on the teaching modules for the various positions.

you are made to work 12 hour days on election day, they give you one fifteen minute break if you're lucky. you sit and do absolutely nothing unless someone comes in to vote.

Long shift but got things done at the end of the day. Would have been terrible if it rained. General issues of location. Most people were happy but some were concerned with mobility issues.

I was recommended by my school principal for this position. Great experience, good money, and people were friendly and supportive. It was a temporary position handling the elections and voting at the schools.

Only worked with them for 2 days for elections. Not much to go off of but the people i did meet were nice, very informative. Everything was very straight forward.

Very organized
Very professional
Everyone worked together as a unit, therefore made the job less stressful when it became that.
Very detail oriented, and you must pay attention at all times, which fit me like a glove

we were able to wear casual outfits and there were minimum management around so it was confusing initially arriving at the work site and determining where to go and what to do. 

I really did enjoy this job, there was lots of computer work and deal with the public a lot, unfortunately it was only 6 weeks during election time, it would have been a great full time job.
