I worked here for 4 and a half years and have seen this place go from a happy family ran company to a mixed bag of soap opera's. I went from being a great worker never been written up or disciplined on any work rules. Then 4 and a half years later a week before Christmas I get called in and told my numbers are low and they are terminating me. I had been training new employees and learning new machines So of course my numbers would be lower at this time as the trainee was running my machine.

 Management continually say that they are making improvements, but they keep on making the same mistakes over and over again. They need to start listening to their hourly employees if they want to learn what the real problems are and how to fix them.

They terminate dedicated employees, and promote and support bad employees. The positive company that I was hired to work for, has drastically gone down the drain. 

They have brought in the wrong people to take over the company; people who have no concept or care for the family run business that they used to be.

The owners need to open their eyes before its too late and all of their hard work goes down the drain.

If they spent more time on there employees and give them the proper increase raises every year they would be so behind on a good wage. Plus the benefits are not the best they should be upgraded because they are 20 years behind. There is no retirement package at all so you struggle to make extra to make one for your self but with the increase with the cost of living every year hard to do while raising families and just enjoying life easily. They only care about them selfs. Bully people when they do write ups don’t give the operator the right to have another person to be there with them and gang up on them and make them sign what ever is in front of them. Only give advancement to those who don’t even know all the jobs but will rat people out over same type of work they use to do. They hold a grudge on some employees and bully them. The Management is running it to the ground. 

The owners are the reason for it being the best place to work. They're very understanding, supportive, kind and generous with all of their employees. They're very family oriented which means a lot. They try to make everyone happy and feel equally important. If you do not like something or how your supervisor or manager handled it they encourage you to go to them. Job security, fair wages and good benefits. They prefer to hire internally so there's opportunities to advance. There is many more pros than cons working at Electro Cables.

Family run can gave its own dynamics within the management of day to day operation sometimes.  

Overall, a great place to work as felt all employees were respected and cared for.  Enjoyed my time here and wish them all well.  

If your good at kissing as and not doing your job this is the place for you.safety is ignored to get production out,plant manager cant be trusted will lie to your face to get things done

I enjoyed working here more than ever. I woke up every morning wanting to go to work. I was the youngest employee however every employee was very welcoming and helpful when I wasn't sure what I was doing. They helped me prepare for the future and taught me skills that I could use later on in my career.

The entire company changed during and after covid. The office staff were given every chance to not get covid, the production staff were treated like they were expendable

You will never advance unless you spend lots of time under a desk in the office. Horrific management that promotes the wrong people and leaves anyone of real value on a line to rott.

Horrible Company to work for.
Unsafe and unhealthy work environment.  Low pay for the job
Hard ti breath inside the plants. Horrible air quality. No paid sick time. Hard work for low pay. Other employees are extremely rude and inappropriate. 

Not a happy place always pushing for overtime would be great if they payed a little more and hired more people  but it’s a Monday to Friday work Schedule
