What is the best part of working at the company?
ERA!   
It is  excellent place to be, exceptional, unique and friendly professional experience at ERA because I was able to meet friendly people who occupy different positions in the company such as form technical, sale and other  department .The Organization also places human beings at the center of these concerns. I was able to give and make my modest and concrete contribution  of development of company . It also allowed me to understand deeply  the ERA (electronic.recycling.association) cycle. 


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?


Respect the deadlines for customer orders, which sometimes require more work requiring multiple tasks and above all the manager does not joke with project delivery times

The Organization also places human beings at the center of these concerns

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Identification of electronic equipment such as telephone, iPad, computer and other, record the equipment in the excel file with their different brand, serial number, manufacturer, test their operationality, resolve software, physical and installation system problems. exploitation. creates the bar codes of the products, link the products in different departments according to the bar codes. transmitted the report to the sales department. Update the inventory of products and establish the list of priorities of tasks and orders.

Would never recommend working here to anyone. Hours and pay were miscalculated often. Was expected to work in unsafe warehouse with barely any heat during the winter. Unrealistic deadlines and work duties changed constantly. Was shorted on pay many times. Rude and arrogant owner and many afterhour dealings. Operates under the guise as a charitable organization yet the donations were very few compared to the amount of items that came into the warehouse. Was forced to finally register complaint with Labour Board, which had numerous previous complaints registered to this business already, Stay away!

DO NOT EVER WORK HERE! 

You will not get paid for over time 
You wont get a  proper lunch 
They micromanage 
They are not nice people 
They call themselves a non profit but they make profit through selling the devices they supposedly donate to over seas, US and Canadian individuals

They treat their staff horribly 



Tremendously excellent place to experience real hands on in computer troubleshooting and repair. The first week of school practicum already learned how to open computers properly and install memory, hard drives, cpu and screen replacements.

Nice environmental a job and good attitude from that supervisors toword workers.Very helpful people when you work with them and they will cooperate with you and help you to understand all the system of work.i was happy when i worked with yhem

Nice people to work with ,lots of very hard working, dedicated, strong group of guys to work around if you have a strong work ethic this is the place for you

The work environment is good, sometimes physically tiring, you learn a lot, and it is a good job to start in IT.
Sometimes, tasks not directly related to IT are performed but serve to understand the operation and how the company flows.
Free food sometimes :)

help is offered when needed at the job site and the hours are very well set also they offer overtime hours along with a chance to get promotions very well organized.

I volunteered here and I got a laptop that was in really bad condition, considering the fact that I volunteered for 24 hours, it was not worth, a few buttons of the keyboard did not even work.

It was an easy enough job, drive, pick up, go back to warehouse to sort.
Staff in the Edmonton location are great to work with and always having a good day and making it easy and enjoyable.
