I had the pleasure of working for Elite Formwork as a construction surveyor, and I must say that my experience with the company was exceptional. From the very beginning, Elite Formwork stood out for its commitment to its employees' growth and development. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work in an environment where my education and personal goals were taken into consideration.

One aspect that truly impressed me about Elite Formwork was their flexibility. They recognized my passion for GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and understood the importance of continuing education. Instead of viewing it as a hindrance or distraction, they actively supported my endeavors to complete my education in GIS while working for them. This level of understanding and support is rare to find in many companies.

The management at Elite Formwork fostered an environment that encouraged personal and professional growth. They provided me with the resources, time, and flexibility I needed to balance my work responsibilities and pursue my educational goals. 

Overall, my time with Elite Formwork was truly fulfilling. Thanks to their flexibility and understanding, I was able to not only excel in my role as a construction surveyor but also complete my education in GIS. I would highly recommend Elite Formwork to anyone seeking a company that values education, growth, and a supportive work environment. 

In 25 years of working at the management level in commercial construction, Elite formwork was by far the worst place to work. Zero job security.  These people hire and fire on a whim.  There is no accountability within management. People have been let go with zero notice and zero reason.  Twice, 3 days before Christmas. If you have trouble holding down a job and showing up to work on time due to some kind of personal problem. Then you'll fit right in.  Oh, and the company golf tournament is a complete embarrassment.  In the two that I went to, three golf carts were destroyed and people were barfing everywhere.  Very classy company. It's obvious that to fit into this group you need to either be addicted to something, have a complete lack of morals, No pride of workmanship and usually divorced...Stay away, far away

I've worked for Elite for over 15 years. Worked on a ton of different types of projects with them over the years and was able to advance in my career with them from Journeyman Carpenter to Project Manger. The company is very loyal to it's workers with lots opportunity for training and advancement for those who want it. Safety is a number one priority for the company and they also provide a great benefit package and RSP matching. Socially they put on a golf tournament, stampede BBQ for your family, and Christmas and topping off parties when not enduring covid times. Overall Elite is good company to work for and has great coworkers to work with.

Worked at Elite for a few years. It started off good, lots of promises were made about advancement and pay increase. Wait 2 years before I even saw a raise and another year before they started my apprenticeship. The guys i worked with were awesome, but management needs some work. Unnecessary stress is put on the crew by the supervisor wandering around site yelling at anyone they come in contact with on a daily basis. Overall it could be a better place to work. 

Working with Elite was a great advancement in my career. They are very competitive with there leadership. Leading all Supervisors with accurate presiss information required to build commercial properties. Other companies don't offer these important services.
Working with Elite was much more involved than with some larger unionized companies,where your only a number or in some cases the FALL guy.

I worked for them long time ago back then everything was pretty good for me as a lead hand or labour forman. I was getting my portion of the operations done in a timely safe manner and was rewarded decently. I’m not sure anymore if it’s still the same. I know the same guys been working there for at 10-15 years in a row. I’ve moved on though on my own accord without any problems. 

Everyday is the same foreman give the task to the crew and he leaves us on our own all day good comunication and safety procedures make sure to stay busy all day inspect all machinery before use as operator

I was fired because I was sick and was away from work with a doctors note . They didn't care.  I almost ended my life.

While I worked there, the other workers would insult and bully a worker nicknamed "turtle" everyday. The boss did nothing. It was sad to see.

Plenty of work lined up, I learned lots of new skills. The management is great and co workers ensure they safety is number one. I really enjoyed the work and challenges.

Toxic typical day at work. the management average but one sided in times of problems. workplace culture is bad and the hardest part is your pressured to the job of your supervisor and be blame if mistake arise based on their decisions.
