Eminence Organic Skin Care

During my time at Eminence Organics Skincare, I was fully committed to the company’s mission, frequently dedicating hours beyond my expected scope and taking on numerous projects aimed at improving the internal work environment. I took pride in my contributions and was dedicated to the team’s success.

However, my experience shifted drastically when my contract was terminated abruptly and without cause, halfway through its term. While I was aware of a termination-at-will clause in my agreement, the reality of having that clause triggered—without a clear reason—and receiving only one week of compensation left me devastated and in a difficult financial position.

What concerns me most is that this does not appear to be an isolated incident. Throughout my time there, I observed a consistent 'revolving door' of staff, with frequent layoffs and new hires. This high turnover suggests a systemic approach to personnel management that views employees as expendable resources rather than valued team members. I found the management style to be manipulative and disconnected, further compounding the sense of instability.

I strongly advise anyone considering a role with this company to review their contract agreements with extreme care. Do not assume that your tenure is secure simply because you are meeting or exceeding your goals. Ensure you have concrete protections in writing, as the company’s willingness to invoke termination clauses mid-contract can have a serious, unexpected impact on your financial stability as well as your personal confidence. Proceed with extreme caution.

Working at Eminence has been a fantastic experience! 
While management certainly holds you accountable for meeting your job requirements and there are expectations on meeting quarterly KPI's, there is a supportive team helping you get there. If I were to create a moto for the work at Eminence it is "Have Fun and Get it Done" - we all work very hard to reach our goals (individual and company-wide), but there is a general sense that everyone is enjoying their work and feels appreciated! Ice Cream in morning meetings and cookies in the afternoon just add to the fun environment - you never know what to expect! While they certainly won't stop you from working overtime, there is no pressure to be the last one to leave the office - this is a company that truly stands behind their core values, goals, and vision.

Eminence is the hidden gem in today's employer market! Leaders in this organization have a heart and authentically care about their employees. Culture is very important but they have also been very nimble in response to the pandemic to ensure the employees feel supported throughout these challenging times. 

The organization is generous with its company perks!

The coolest CEO & GM! They are super fun, always wonderful to interact with and knows you by your name.

I have been with Eminence for nearly 2 years and I have never worked with a more supportive and friendly group of people. The leaders are very people-oriented and they genuinely care about the learning and development of their teams. The environment is fast paced as the teams are very driven and passionate about the work they do. I really stand behind our company's social responsibility, products and leadership. This is one of the best jobs I've ever had and I'm really happy to be working with Eminence.

There is constant bullying and micro-management. They tell you what to write in emails. In terms of time flexibility, they are like the military.
They have a culture of prosecution where they take you to  room and try to establish weather you have done anything wrong to fire you.
They also interfere in your personal life like how you commute to work. They call you at night or weekends and order you to work. If you have a health problem, you need to explain to them what that health problem is.
There is a high turn-over rate.

The reason I like Eminence the most is consistency. They are inclusive and understanding of your faith and beliefs. The company culture Rocks. They have never laid anyone off. It is a great place to work. You get recognition for the work you accomplish.

Overall Eminence is a nice place to work. At times it can very fast paced. It is easy to request time off and the benefits are great. Generous with free products.

I feel supported and that I am given tools I need to succeed. I like the flexibility and the ability to make decisions around my job. I feel trusted and valued. This company supports charities and I am proud to work for them  I am passionate about my job 

The best part about working at Eminence is the people. Everyone is very friendly, supportive, collaborative, and they genuinely care about the work they are doing. People live and breathe the core values here. Very positive work environment!

I like the people working here. The company sometimes organize events for us to meet other people in different departments and they value their employee. Although the pay for my position is not high, I feel it's reasonable for this workload.
