The hardest part of the job was managing tight deadlines during peak project phases, but that also pushed me to improve my time management and prioritization. The most enjoyable part was working with a talented and friendly team that values communication and continuous improvement. Overall, Encepta offers a positive environment where you can grow, learn, and make an impact.

A typical day involved coordinating project tasks, tracking progress, and communicating with teams and contractors. I learned how to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. However, the workplace lacked strong project management structure and organization. Many project managers were inexperienced and struggled to manage large projects effectively. This often created high stress and pressure for the team. Senior management support was also limited, which made it difficult to resolve issues quickly. Overall, the team worked hard, but the lack of clear project management processes affected performance. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with supportive coworkers and gaining experience in infrastructure projects.

As a GIS Co-Op student at Encepta, I experienced a dynamic and engaging work environment where I developed practical skills in GIS data analysis, map creation, and project management. The supportive management and inclusive workplace culture fostered collaboration and professional growth. While managing multiple projects simultaneously was challenging, it helped me improve my time management and prioritization skills. The most rewarding aspect was seeing the tangible impact of my work and being part of a friendly, community-oriented team. Overall, Encepta provides a highly positive and enriching co-op experience.

Management Team cares about their employees. The workplace culture is the most diverse and inclusive that I have experienced. Great benefits. Time off between Christmas and New Years. Full time work from home. Accommodating work schedule for appointments. The employees are very supportive to help each other succeed.

I've had a really positive experience working at Encepta. The culture is supportive, people-focused, and down-to-earth. You’re surrounded by teammates who care, have your back, and bring good energy to the table every day.

Comp and benefits are solid, and the bonus structure is a nice touch. There's a real focus on career growth, too, if you’re willing to put in the effort, there are plenty of chances to move up or try something new.

It's a great place to work. The work-life balance is good, and the company culture is very friendly and collaborative. My team is incredibly supportive, and there is a strong sense of camaraderie, which makes the day-to-day work much more enjoyable. The office is also well-maintained and organized.


At the beginning, I enjoyed my job and enjoyed working for this company.  Things changed and new management came in.  The new management hired their old staff from their previous employer and gave them Manager positions.  The new Manager does not abide by safety and/or respect the works below them, except their previous employees they brought over.  It has become a terrible place to work and I am actively looking elsewhere.

Encepta has a high focus on people, you feel valued, not like one more number. It is a great place to work.

Amazing, very close and welcoming.
