The senior staff and management are all understanding and extremely cooperative. Nobody would ever tolerate harassment and unsafe work practices.
We are all team players at work and friends off work.

I like how each day is different with new tasks and challenges. 
I have learned so much already and I have only been there a short while. I can't wait to see how much I can grow with this company. 
The workplace culture is my favourite part. There is such a dynamic and fun corporate culture and everyone works well together. 
Since it is a new company (recent relaunch to Arkon Solutions) there is a lot that needs to be done, however everyone is up for the task! 


This Company is good when the parents running the business but after the their sons took over everything change to downside except for management. all promotions for upper management but for operators nothing. in last 5years working I only had twice salary increase. mostly they put their profit into assets like building something or buying new equipment. also this company are not safe for your health to stay as retirement job. no union so anytime they firing people.

Great group of guys work there. The company and its management did not live up to expectation. they do not follow up with job roles. very unorganized. they do not hire from within, and the pay is nott the greatest. they had promised more money per hour and a raise every 3 months based on performance but did not follow through. I would recommend this job for someone just getting into Calgary but do not stay there. move on to something better.

The work was interesting and it was always something new each day.  Some days I would buy a piece of machinery, another day was I buying a load of Flax straw.  I loved the variety.  My co-workers and the management were wonderful, from the receptionist to the chemical engineer to the floor worker mixing chemicals, we would always have a smile on our faces.  The monthly BBQ during the summer was always a fun time to visit with the 150 employees working there.

Had a new manager with no clue how to run the warehouse.
Bad communications on the office staff of what needs to be done
Upper level management doesn't have clue or appreciate the warehouse staff.
New software system implemented and making it difficult and stressful to work with for warehouse and production crew.

The lead hand on the production side and the supervisor. They are selfish and racist they don’t know anything. They’re lucky to be there. Only owners are good guys working on the floor is the best. The old man their supervisor oh my God I can’t tell you how he is racist. And Two of the leads God they are bad racist one day God will pay back for what they do on other people life including me. they pretend on your face but on your back Omg.

A fabulous chemical manufacturing company thats been around since the 80's. Very reasonable pay and management gives staff opportunities to grow and develop in their respective fields. Work life balance is great and good benefit package. Free parking and lots of company perks. Safety is paramount in all work activities and supervisors and management really want to ensure its a safe and fun work environment for all.

Pretty easy when I first started. Then they brought in a new manager who didnt have a clue to what he was doing and decided it would be a brilliant idea to install a complicated inventory system that no one could figure out how To use.
Other then that and the clown of a manager it was an okay job

handling independent projects and developing new products and improving the old products, also taking care of callibration of instruments and attend sales and research meetings. taking care regulatory things related to new and old products.
