Working at Esprit was very nice. I was given an opportunity to work with some very nice people and also develop my customer care skills . I never worked in retail before so when i was given this opportunity it was like a dream come true. a typical day was, I came for my shift it would start off slow then get really busy then die down again then pick up until it was time for closing. Management was great, she cared about her employees and very social with the customers and professional with us as the staff. the hardest part was the long standing but it was worth it because at the end of the day or a sale when a customer left happy with what they purchased, that was really satisfying to me. 

- Checking the appearance of the store, making sure the individual sales goal, and to memorize all promotions, be prepare to the customers.

- I have learned about how important team work is, and how to manage a store in a rush period, as well as improving my multitasking skills.

- The managers were great, especially good at communicating with all the staffs, always making sure everyone's on the right track before the shift starts, and always give great advice.

- My co-workers are really easy going, always willing to help and very passionate with their positions.

- The hardest part of working in Esprit was to deal with unreasonable requests, but it did not happened a lot, and I always think of it as a challenge instead of a problem.

- I enjoy most about this job is everyone's helping each other and willing to work together as a team to make the sales goal better.

My typical day included opening the establishment and doing morning bank runs. I would prepare the tills and supervise staff on the floor.  I would socialize with the customers and help with sales duties, but my sole responsibility was the store operations.
Co-workers were all very young teens.  This made it difficult at times to delegate tasks and get things done effectively.
The most enjoyable part of my job was having fun with the customers and being able to laugh and smile.  The business traffic was very high and kept me busy and on my toes all day.

our manager was really rude. i had been there for almost a year and he hired someone to be a key holder. i think that someone who knows the store and the product should become key holder before some new person that doesnt know anything. i hated going to work because the manager would criticize me, for everything, but i know i did my job well and i always had happy customers that loved me and always came back for me and asked me to be their personal shopper

• Assist customers with language barriers
• Responsible for opening and closing store (handling money transactions, preparing testers and cleaning area).
• Record sales and reported end of day sales to Red Earth Cosmetics’ head office.

Commission Goal based retail environment. Friendly co workers, and management.   Multicultural, and no judgement zone. Family friendly environment to work at.

This company ran great they hire and train individuals to meet their expectations while continuing to learning is adapted.  They take their time to work with you and really fairly pay for your work.

I was an intern at Esprit so I didn't get paid which was a downside.  However, they provided some free lunches.  I wish the staff had been a little friendlier.

Really good place to work. As my first job there was a lot of flexibility with school scheduling. management was great and the compensation was great.
