What is the best part of working at the company?
The people. I learnt alot from my inventory manager and the recieving supervisor.  Most of the people I worked with were amazing and we ran a smooth ship till they hired a not so nice man up front to ruin the warehouse.  The office is another story. Too many bosses.Supposed to be a family run company, The family is in Florida and comes back for a few days so they can show there power. Boss people around, fire people and they know nothing about what the employees actually do. Some get sick from stress they don't care. Everyone fake kisses there butt.  Oh the pay is horroble, no advancements and if you ask for a raise they ad 10 more things to your already full plate. . Do not work for the putmans!!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Being harrased my certain people to get things done when they didnt give us the people to do so. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It's a semi busy warehouse. Not like it was before covid. Depended on the day. I was always busy

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Overworked and underpaid. Very busy and waiting time explaining what we do to the office so they can change the process.  They have no idea what is going on in the warehouse. Go sit at your desk. Mind your buisness

They exhibit the common "private business" disadvantages while not retaining any of the advantages. Strong focus on profit at the cost of employee's well-being. Very little direction and strategy at the corporate level and not enough staff to execute it. Almost no communication from the "top-down".

Overall, the company employs a very low caliber of talent. They do not encourage employees to upgrade their skill sets (no reimbursement of courses or time off for personal development). There is absolutely no mentorship for lower-level staff.

Most of the real decision-making power rests at the CEO level. So all the issues discussed above really stem from that position. He is very egocentric, dishonest, vindictive, and has a constant need to always be right. Not really a person you would want to work for.

Don't bother working here. You will regret it.

Advice to Management: do better

Company claims your hours are 9am until 5pm however it is highly frowned upon to leave at 5pm regardless of what quarter of the year. The customer list you are given has already been picked through for the customers that purchase the most by the other sales staff which means you are left with old customers and online sellers. This obviously hurts your commission. There is no lunch room or allotted time to eat be prepared to eat at your desk but if you're a smoker enjoy all the breaks you want! Overall this company is lacking organization, qualified sales manager, tools for success as well as policy and procedures for the sales team. 

Rethink any position with this company. Toxic and unprofessional atmosphere. Warehouse managers and staff too busy bickering, threatening to quit or complaining. Office staff are miserable, demanding and quick to throw the blame rather than accept responsibility. Bickering between account managers is intense and makes for a hostile work environment. You will spend your days being yelled at, criticized, verbally abused and spoken to in an improper manner. At least once a week someone is threatening to quit and walk out. No lunch allowed - you have to work straight through without a break or lunch - “eat at your desk”. I kid you not. Paycheques are handing out to you after 3 on Friday meaning you have to race to bank before the weekend. Save your self the hassle and keep looking. Interview them and ask about the turnover. The only family thing about this company is the actual family - parents and children that run it

What is the best part of working at the company?
I really liked my immediate supervisors and I genuinely enjoyed the work. It was never a struggle to take time off.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The laughable wages and open contempt from senior management.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
If you like getting extra qualifications and then not getting extra compensation, or if you're fine being paid the same as a day 1 hire after four years, then you'll love it here. Promotions are handed out based on the personal opinions of the owning family, so if you keep your head down and do your job instead of socializing, you won't get anywhere; they simply pretend you don't exist. 

I remember every promise made during my job interview. None of them were fulfilled in my entire time at the company.

not a good company to work for - suppose to be family oriented - not true - employees are overworked and underpaid.  Turn over of staff is over whelming.  Company does offer incentives but with conditions ie good Christmas bonus only if you don't miss any days at work for a period of three months - what if a family member was to pass away - then the employee gets penalized.  Hours are suppose to be from 9 to 5 but employees only get out of work at 6:30 if not later.  Employees are expected to work six days a week and if they don't there is the possibility of being fired.  Not a good company at all.

***Avoid working here at all costs***
I was let go after being there for 2 weeks via a phone call.  They didn't have the decency to tell me I was doing anything wrong nor provide any guidance.  The director of finance has ZERO corporate experience with respect to running a finance department.  No basic training materials, extremely unorganized with no direction.  If you have good ideas on how to improve efficiency keep it to your self, if you seem smarter than your boss they'll escort you out the building because they don't want to feel like they're being upstaged.

Worked there for 3 years always had to keep asking for a raise never ended up getting my raise when I got trained on the forklift... the office staff were at the time very toxic people always ratting you out for small minor mistakes or screaming at you for not completing an order they told no one about. 
Overall this placed caused my nothing but stress and anxiety .. would not recommend 

Completely C.R.A.P company to work for. Warehouse workers are on bottom and treated below average. Don’t do more than what is required of you, they will ask for more and more and expect it with a smile. If you like being talked down to, working long hours, no work/life balance, and fake people this is the place for you. Toxic work environment. High turnover. Run fast and far away from here and never look back.


One of the worst experiences in my working career, co-workers would talk badly about each other, confusion daily, favourites of the inept managers. The pay is garbage, no direct deposit, had to try and cash in your check before the banks closed, they wouldn’t let you leave like 2 mins early to catch the bus, worst company I’ve ever worked for by far.
