The management and training is horrid. I started a week after a new girl who received no training, and then she was  the one who had to train me! Neither of us was given any resources or knew what was going on despite constant requests for assistance. The girl who trained me was yelled at in front of the whole office several times, taken off accounts and blamed for the problems. They then tried to put me in charge of their biggest account. Worried I would go through the same level of stress due to the lack of training and care, I left. Only stayed for 2 months. It was a very short commute, maybe 5 minutes. And the pay was low but decent for entry-level. Yet I still chose to leave due to the terrible management and stress.

Bullies, that’s what comes to mind when I think about Expeditors. People get cranky when you ask for help. Everyone stabs each other behind others’ backs, from the office to the warehouse. 

Lots of politics going on in an office of 60 people; one gets promoted very quickly, if they’re close to the DM. 

It’s run like a family business; it is unprofessional, low pay. They say they value their customers, but there were actions that completely opposite. They will do certain activities to “teach a customer a lesson.”

There are still a few good people there though; but they’re often stressed, overwhelmed, overworked. All management does is abusing them even more.

It is really not a good place to work.

High expectation, but the very lack of training and resources, would not recommend this place. Too much politics, sweet smiles at the front, but hide the knife behind the back.
Training is not existing and when you seek for help they will deliver an empty promise or to see you struggle and drown.
Lying and manipulate, move Management blindly away from the truth. There is so much favoritism, it isn't funny. If they helped if only favor or benefit to themselves, cannot be trusted. A job isn't bad, but people just make thing more difficult for other hard to accomplish, also mean they are set you up to be failed.

In one building for two weeks, and handed an account after one week, then moved to another where it is like pulling teeth to get information of have accounts handed over for full responsibility. Guess some don't understand you are only as good as ones you train in order for advancement. In an ISO world, although not all up to date and usable if needed on fly, there are always working instructions in order to run accounts in absences or emergencies, the more you can train someone to run unassisted, the better for you, no thing as job security in business anymore

I have been working for the same company at Egypt for 6 years and i have really enjoyed working for Expeditors in Egypt and i have learned a lot , howevere working for Expeditors in Canada Brampton location is totally diferent as it is very stresful due to workload and staff shortage.
Also the management is not proffesional when it comes to choosing the service providers and even the company that provide services to the employees such RRSP. It takes years until you get hired,as they hire you first through an agency and also to get benefits you have to spend one more year ???.

regular and Other Government Department, SIMA
all mode of transportation,

Paperless environment is awesome

This is a pure open door policy company
great managers

The hardest part of the job:
trying to do the 52 hours training while you have to many entries to process...

What is the best part of working at the company?
Leaving !  Management did no training and allowed poor attitude from staff beforehand to create a recipe of no chance for a proper integration. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Left trying to figure things out with no help or guidance from anyone. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Not designed to work like a team.  Almost cult like . 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I would rather forget. Starting the day by trying to see someone who is willing to explain what they are doing and why.

This warehouse is a very toxic environment. They can never keep middle management. Always "passing the buck" and looking for "scapegoats". Employee entrance should be a revolving door because so many people are coming and going faster than you can learn names. Avoid this company hands down and go to another place that will actually pay you a proper wage than the insult they give you for a pay check. If you do work there expect to learn very fast how this place works and none of it good. Simply...... stay away

This job gave me so much stress it caused gastritis (peptic ulcer). Managment is a joke. If you're not their favorite, you might as well quit because if you do something wrong, not only will they send you a passive aggressive email, they will also hold it over your head forever. They lied to my face during the interview saying I'd have to work some weekends. LOL I worked every weekend. They also made me work every holiday and didnt even ask me if I could.

would not recommend this place, there is so much favouritism it isn't funny.  The management has her favourites and says she has an open door policy, ya sure then nothing gets done, there are so many people leaving the company and still nothing is getting done, there were a few people with many years that left because of the management saying the will take care of stuff and then not doing nothing
