Faber Work

This place was great at first, when I was learning thr basics of the construction trades; but after spending nearly 2 yeats with this company you start to realize howuch much money is going into their pockets, simply bc youre doing hard labour. Then try taking a mental health break, or a week offf to go camping; and suddenly they "have no work available" 🙄 overall not stoked and I won't go back.

I have only working for Faber for a week but so far so good.I like working part time (2-3 days a week) 
I don't mind being on call because I get paid 21.50 per hour and by the time I get dispatched and get to work is already 8,30-9 am .
I still get paid for a full 8 hours .
I could work 5 days a week if I wanted, there seems to be lot of work at this time .
The wage is at least 3 $ per hour more that the other placement agencies and there is good communication with the staff .


Faber is a great side hustle and possible way to find long term employment, there are good wages and well set up app for easy navigation. getting on and verified is very simple as you give information than get verified by a faber representative. Worked on and off with them since i was 15, would recommend

Very helpful in finding work!  What a great company to work for! And very personable!

I never had one! Because, I just went to work on time ! Not a bad thing to say 😁

I always like how personable they were with me!

Just go to work and fill your hours in at the end of the day!

Great flexible option for anyone that isnt sure what they want to do in life but still want to make some money in the meantime without any commitment. Met some great people on the job sites and also can lead to great job opportunities itself.

Doing taxes with them is a huge pain tho since you are your own contractor, but you can write off fuel, phone, gear, etc.

Great professional company. I had the pleasure of working with numerous members of the faber team. They were friendly, engaging, and extremely helpful throughout my entire application process.

The Faber Team is great! They have an amazing system that allows you to get paid weekly (no more waiting on those 2-3 week cheques). 

Their app connects me to tons of jobs whenever I need them which allows me to chose when I work and for who I work for.

I have been working as a contractor for about a year and I enjoy the flexibility and collaborative efforts for me to get resourced hours and being paid on time.

Very easy to get jobs and usually awesome job sites and companies you are contracted out to. I haven't had a bad day at Faber yet. Not for those who want to work as little as possible.

Enjoy the competitive and challenging nature of the culture. Fast-paced and willing to always try new suggestions / ideas. Its been very easy to get along with the rest of the team and everyone is very approachable.
