Good pay, good benefits, garbage management, play favourites, very low morale, extreme micromanaging, they promote the incompetent, they’ll write you up for leaning or being 1 minute late on your break,  but if your drunk or high on drugs, that’s ok!, they’ll turn a blind eye.  You’ll never have a weekend off and good luck booking some time off......”operational needs..... sorry, DENIED!!!!” Hopefully the privatization will shake things up and thin the herd.....

It's filled with some awesome staff members, it's a stressful job at times. The public can be very impatient and downright rude especially if they are losing money.  Management changes bring about policy changes . Sometimes the communication is lacking and not everyone is on the same page.  I was there for 19 yrs, i left because i needed a change in my life.

The best part of the job is the experience it gave me to further my professional career. Workplace culture is what YOU make it. The lens that you look though determines your attitude and will determine your degree of success. Of course there are hard days. Not bad, but hard. You get uniforms fitted by a tailor. An exercise room to work out in and a great place to buy your work meal. Best benefits with pension. 

Your experience will vary depending on the department that you're in, but over all they take safety very seriously. Pre-pandemic if there was work-specific things they expected you to wear they provided it, including steel toe shoes. I left during the pandemic though, and the new management may have changed some of those things. 

- a typical day at work would be busy during the summer time but during the winter it depends if there is a show or not
- I learned time management, cooperation/communication, and working under pressure
- the workplace culture is very diverse, there are a lot of people who are friendly
- the hardest part of the job is dealing with unhappy customers
- the most enjoyable part of the job is meeting new people

Back when I started working here, 15 years ago, the wages were the best around. It made up for the shift work, lack of advancement and no work/life balance. But now? The wage is average. Not worth it at all. Management is a joke. Keep looking! There are much better companies out there! 

The casino is always busy, the training process is intense. There are not many permanent positions (full or part-time) They mostly hire contract which isn't a very secure feeling, its well managed and great perks for staff, I only left because I needed guarantee hours and benefits.

If you live in Niagara falls and are passionate about providing people with real 5* service, this is the right company to work for. The management is great and supportive. The company culture is good and people are very friendly.

Great place to work.  They constantly are training associates to better themselves for a happier workplace. You are not alone. there is always help for whatever situation. they have an open door policy that is fantastic. Everyone knows everybody and supports each other through thick and thin.
