Being a small company it is highly encouraged that everyone knows a little about each part of the operation, that way if someone cant make it in, things can still get done. Tasks involve laying and cutting turf, assembling and tensioning protective enclosures, and setting up the projector/computer/software. You also need to ensure the equipment for each installation is organized and shipped correctly For sales, it is more about e-mailing and cold calling possible clients. However, no compensation for additional work is ever discussed. You will be overworked if you allow yourself to be manipulated into it by management. Unethical practices make it difficult to stay working at the company for long. There are no incentives for doing a good job and the atmosphere is a discouraging one. Any tiny mistake is blown up out of proportion. So much so that it becomes the reason why promotions are not given. Promotions will always be promised in the future but will never occur. The reasoning I got was that the owner believes people are always going to ask for more money so he never adjusts the salary. You can learn how to swing a golf club and sometimes fancy places want an installation.

Unless you are an engineer I would not recommend working here. The pay is not great and there are no structures in place for raises or performance evaluations. There is no HR department. Culture of only caring about meeting deadlines, inducing stress and causing employees to be overworked. For a medium sized company that is growing, this company has the structure of a small business in which select individuals make all the decisions. I thought the company being acquired would be good in order to establish more typical corporate structures but the same lack of structure pervades this entire company still.


A typical day involves listening to an entitled CEO & President talk about his vision for the company. Try as you might it will never be as good as the imagined vision. Trying to create high-quality products off cheap labour and an understaffed team. Supervisors do not understand the effort involved and the tasks needed to complete a vision. Promotions are never given due to underappreciated performance. This also keeps profits high for the CEO & President. No bonuses, no benefits, no raises; this company needs a complete re-evaluation from the top down. 

For the few months I have been with Foresight Sports Canada, the culture within the company has been second to none. Supportive, fun, and fast paced environment with lots of opportunity to grow within. The company is very organized from an operational standpoint which made on-boarding for myself, an easy proposition. I would absolutely recommend this company for anyone who is interested in prospective job postings. 

You are encouraged to treat the company like your family because many members are related. The boss seems to have difficulty realizing people have their own families. Overworked and underpaid to be yelled at by a grown man who doesn't have any idea of federal working conditions. No raises, no courtesy, no work from home, no benefits, no appreciation.

Not an enjoyable place to work. The boss constantly yells. Minimal supervision. No promotions. The occasional free lunch. Not COVID friendly. Co-workers do not respect one another in a professional manner. 
Below average pay.

Company is greedy and lacks empathy for employees. They treat they employees poorly and except more then is fair. Employees are over worked and there's a lack of proper management throughout all departments.

Working here is fun because it’s cutting edge technology but disorganized and people think they are more important than others. Owners seem clueless at times about what it takes to accomplish specific tasks

avoid at all costs.  #hostile work environment. Several top staff members quit or left during my time there. During my 15 year career - worst work place I can recall. Move on trust me.
