Friendly Manor Nursing Home

A great working environment.  Staff are friendly and caring, they all go the extra mile to make sure the residents have a great place to live and enjoy life.  Everyone pulls together and helps each other out in all departments when needed.  Management is fair and consistent and is always willing to pitch in when needed if short on the floor.  Management tries to accommodate all employee requests and have a very open door policy.  I would highly recommend working at Friendly Manor!!

I loved the job when I first started there. It slowly went downhill. Had to work 10 weekends in a row, working 6 or 7 days in a row with only 1 day off in between. Had to fight to get my benefits or any extra pay. Worked a lot of night shifts, and had to fight for the in charge pay. Most of the PSWs and other nurses were great, Friendly Manor needs an overhaul in management. 

Staff working are overworked while management and some watch from the sidelines . Owner is never involved and hasn’t got a clue how management run their facility. Run down building more focused on decor and socializing than improving staff morale workload and resident care . Expected overtime with no support

Very busy Long-term care home.  Staff are caring and provide excellent care. It's an older facility but everyone does their best to ensure the needs of residents are met.  Helpful staff and management.  

Some difficult and demanding families but they are everywhere . Great team, fun days! Great staff who really care about each other. Competitive wage. 

Poor management skills, huge turn around  they hire people and fire people shortly after without no giving explanation you either fit in or you don't 

Challenging work environment with a lot of responsibility placed on registered nursing staff. Many call ins and therefore able to pick up full time hours as part time employee. Approachable management.

For a small private home wages are comparable to larger homes. Overall good employment experience, good managers and staff building is older but well maintained with decor updates.

Day staff are not personable towards new employees or residents. The younger Psws are much open to new people. Unprofessional management. Very chaotic and disorganized most days.

The residents are wonderful, very heavy work load no managerial support. Staff are undertrained and thrown into the job without the knowledge required.
