I learned a big lesson working for this company. They say you will be placed on probational period for three months right after your training ends. During that time frame of your so call "probation", the company will terminate your employment if you make any mistake. So my biggest disappointment working for this company and providing my productive time is that they do not provide a chance for employees to justify or improve their skills. This company should not be providing future possible employees with the presentment of so called "training period". Operation Manager nor does Managers there really care for their employees. During my time working there, I have noticed Managers tend to only care about their stats and bonus for themselves. I was not given a two week notice of termination, nor did I get a chance to improve where I went wrong. During my termination, I was escorted by male manager and I felt very displeased with the way the company treated me. My assigned Manager did not even spoke to me at the end, it was some other male manager who was working at the company. I was not allowed to retreat my personal belongings or had the chance to say good bye to my fellow coworkers. I did not commit a felony at work, so I was very confused as to why this company treated me this way. I just wanted to say for future employees to be cautious as to what this company offers. I do not hold any grudge or has psychotic ideas about taking action with this company. I loved my experience there with my coworkers. I would not recommend anyone I know to work here.

In the department I worked for I would reach out to customers to sell a "free" internet upgrade. There's great training - about 2.5 weeks, but it often doesn't translate to the calls we actually make and get on the floor. The systems need to be changed drastically! We don't see any of the customers information (including their names) until the automated dialer starts ringing, so we have no idea of any issues/concerns the customer has with their services. I got a lot of frustrated customers because of this since we seem unprepared and clueless. We're very strictly monitored  e.g after call time/ washroom break time, which can get very annoying. We also get weekly reviews with managers to try and improve our calls.

My coworkers made work a whole lot better! People are very friendly and we could always joke around to lighten up a tough day. There is a great lunch area, with lots of snacks- the whole office area is neat most of the time. We also have to bid for our work schedules with our colleagues so it may be hard to plan your life outside of work at times.

Due to COVID-19 we had to change our regular roles. The training was insufficient (it was designed to be 4 weeks but had to be cut down 5.5 days)  and it made speaking with customers very difficult, although they did have mentors to help us, it still was very awkward and not adequate.

upon starting this job, one of the first things i heard about was high turnover. within my first 2 months, at least half the office was entire new faces, management even was quitting left right and centre, their policies are bogus, more than half of FLG policies clash with TELUS’, leaving FLG employees with incredibly minimal, to no job security at all. 
when employees in the office call in sick, are late, etc, management basically demands/requests/requires overtime of their staff, often deeming it as “mandatory” and forcing agents to commit to overtime on their schedules weeks in advance. 
want to talk to HR about how you feel and the toxicity of the environment? good luck; they’ll probably just fire you and deem you unnecessary on the spot - happened today to a friend of mine. 

the customers are absolutely awful, will spit every abusive, nasty, demeaning term at you that they can think of, simply out of anger they can’t financially manage to pay their cell phone bill on time in full every month, and more often than not your team of managers will still tell you to sit there and take the customers abuse regardless of what’s been said. 
management is inconsistent, bad at following up, in personable, and honestly, as a staff member, i do not feel valued by my employer. 

absolute WORST place i have ever worked.

Your pay is short of a certain amount, "accidentally", your manager would come to you, while you are busy on phone call, which you are for 96% of your time,  tell you to sign a paper quickly, because the director is waiting for it, in that paper you agree to do over time, but sometimes you get paid regular rate not over time rate, company designed the rules of hour wage to be consistent with you not being paid more money, they would pick up any one to work with them, because of the high turn over, mostly high school grads, or immigrants who need any job, bottom line people who are not familiar with how a job should be, so they can be used as much as possible, if  you wanna speak to HR, good luck, people you get on the phone do not even have 1% of curtsy or manners, does not matter if its a girl, woman, man, they will use abusive language, because you know they do not wanna pay, and this is where you come in as a rep, to take the hit, from  angry customers, your manager will tell you that its your responsibility to provide positive experience, your targets, are designed to not be achieved, so they do not pay you the bonus they promised of, there are a lot of jobs out there that are much better that this one.

This place was very highly based on favouritism if they like you they will bend over backward for you if not get ready to feel like the most undervalued human. This company does not know how to make there staff feel valued you are just another body to them. Very micromanaged   High turnover rate you always see new faces. My manager I had there basically told me I had to take the abuse some of the customers were giving me and I wasn’t able to do anything about it her words were “It comes with the job” no one should ever be told that abuse comes with a job. I was there for only 6 months and I had 3 different manager unprofessional environment.

This job is STRESS to the max- they don't disclose what actually happens or what you will be doing until you are a week into training. this is for collections.... you aren't really customer service you annoy people who owe telecom company money. You have access to very private information you are not aloud to have your phone on you on the floor or wear any kind of smart watch. The breaks are short and you feel that you are always being watched. If you don't mute your mike between calls you are always being monitored. There are managers who think they are better than everyone and have a very sarcastic mean sense of "humour". This is only the place to work if you legit have no soul and enjoy this type of stuff

My typical day of work usually consists of taking X number of inbound and outbound calls relating to clearing up their account delinquency.  On days that I don't have to take calls, I helped new agents get comfortable with the job itself such as the art of negotiation and system navigation.  The hardest part about this job would definitely be the repetitiveness of taking calls and dealing with frustrated customers.  The most enjoyable part of the job is definitely the coworkers that you work here.  They for sure make the job very enjoyable to come to work everyday.

Inbound/outbound calls were relatively easy going, with the exception of some belligerent clients. The work environment was extremely unprofessional. Some managers would roll their eyes and walk away when you asked them for help, others would be constantly having inappropriate conversations with others at loud enough volumes to make everyone uncomfortable. Things would constantly be going missing from people's desks and lunch room fridges. Very few people actually enjoyed working there.

A good place to learn customer services skills. Supports are available.  Enjoyed working with colleagues. Most enjoyable part of the job is the feeling of satisfaction from being able to help someone over the phone. Room for growth for those who are committed. However, when project originally assigned to you was finished, management can just put you to another one and you don't get to choose. Maximizes employee by giving another task on top of your current one with very little compensation.  

This place is run by toxic, biased management that doesn't treat employee members equally. They treat majority like trash knowingly as there's a very high turnover rate, so they don't care. They know you'll probably end up hating the place and quit anyway. You're expected and pretty much forced into working overtime and constantly nagged at for it. It isn't worth it with this work environment.
