Fujitsu used to be a good company (ca 2010) in Calgary.  However, the management fell apart and its sales people left for other opportunities.  As a result, the Calgary office collapsed and only 1 project (to my knowledge) still exists.  Working on this project will mean that you will be working in the same position with no opportunities for innovation.  It is an important project, however it is very circumscribed in its approaches.  It was a port of an ASP 3.0 application and it's structure reflects choices made at that time.  

As a company, I was left with the impression that Fujitsu does not understand software development.  My biggest point of frustration were the annual performance reviews.  The majority of points had to do with my contributions to sales (I was in development).  So, we had to answer our objectives using weasel phrases that had no bearing on my actual job.  One year, 25% of my review was based on bringing in 2 qualified sales leads. Needless to say that did not happen.  I'm not sure if it is official or unofficial, but Fujitsu has a policy of normalizing reviews.  So even if you did very well in your position, you will likely not score above a 3 on a 5 point scale.  So, don't expect management to make you feel good about the job you are doing.

I worked for almost a decade in this company, started at  DMR, actually their last year, which was fabulous and then experienced slow downfall. When Canada was absorbed by the US, things gone very bad. The processes got messed up, the company completely lost what they are selling and to who. Senior/executive management continues to change often, with no time to implement and follow a particular strategy, very big overhead costs, despite closing few offices across Canada. Salaries are all over the map. no consistency, no raises. They lost few big clients. Morale is very low. There is no succession planning. They try to succeed by bringing high paid employees from competitors, meanwhile overseeing their own great talent, that deserves promotion. if you are a talented Admin assistant, good luck getting out of your admin role. Lots of people work from home and it seems the only reason why they are still in the company. No social events or employees spending whatsoever. You might get occasional training if you are lucky and they are not on spending freeze.

Worst management ever. Doesn't trust employees. Treat employees as like trash because we are replaceable. Constantly threaten to replace us. Expect us to commit our lives to the company.

I have never worked in a place where I feel like I can be replaced anytime. I worked in Mcdonald's as a teen and was retreated better. There is no room for growth as they promote only the ones that's been there for several years. No salary increase. Who every starts after you will have the same pay as you. Fujitsu offers salary WAY lower than any company that requires the same skills. 

HR is really unprofessional and seems like she got her degree from a cereal box. No knowledge of the laws and rely on what the managers tell them. As if they have no output of their own.

They constantly add more workload to your job. You'd be handling one company and they would jsut add another company to handle without telling you.

Same as the hours, they will just ell you your hours are changed and you have to deal with it

Fujitsu is a great employer sitting on a tonne of potential if their management can just get their act together. They are the 3rd or 4th largest IT organization in the world but employees are regularly frustrated that aligning all Fujitsu capabilities to make them a true successful contender outside Japan seems elusive.

Although they claim Japanese values, it is difficult to say that these values (e.g. focus on the customer - not the quarter) are regularly practiced. 

Their salaries are aligned with the industry, but with overhead and structural issues, Fujitsu remains an expensive proposition for clients. You can jump immediately to sold opportunities but I also saw a lot of top tier people sitting for extended periods of time on the bench. Their sales organization needs improvement.

A typical day at work involves teleconferencing with Project deliverable updates with the team and also systems deployment updates and recommendations. These meetings are usually back to back for the most part of the day. 
My role involve creating technical writing and project documentations, including the systems analysis documentation, process re-engineering.
My daily time management is dependent on project requirements and deliverable at hand, and each work day may not be exactly the same as the next. However, I've always ensured that my work schedule and  items on my to do list for the day are completed as planned.
I get along with most of my team members whom I work with directly, but sometimes go out of my way to offer assistance to whomever may need it.
The most enjoyable part of my job is the flexibility to manage my time well and to work as a team player.

Terrible job. Worked here for about 4 years and I wish I could take those years back. Negativity starts from the top. Manager comes in when he feels like it. Team Leads are clueless and delegate all the work to the agents. You receive a 50cent/hour raise after 6months. Then you might receive another 50cent/hour raise a year later. Don't expect anything else. Extremely lousy salary. Impossible to move up in the company because management has their cliques.

The leads and supervisors have nicknames for the agents and they are always making fun of people behind their backs.

The job itself is not very difficult but it is painful to deal with.

Also any skills you acquire at this job will not be helpful in any other work environment.

I found it to be fun and exciting, challenging to say the least. 
the first 3 months is a never ending learning challenge, after you settle, but it never get dull. 
unfortunately I didn't get along with a supervisor and he found all possible excuse to make my work difficult so left after many arguments.
if anything I really enjoyed and appreciate the time I worked there, as most other place you have others that doesn't care about work and this means you get to work twice as hard . 
staff in general are helpful, you can work overtime if you like, when offered. doesn't pay the highest salary but really, its more about feeling that you have done something meaningful.

While the company has made plenty of adjustments for Covid, the culture surrounding their work is one of cutting corners until they form a sphere. Employee concerns are constantly voiced but take months upon months to be addressed, and management is more concerned with making changes for the sake of having meetings than actual progress. Many seem to be unqualified or unfamiliar with their role and what the jobs entail, disregarding reports and statistics for what they "feel" is correct.

If you have the energy for constant change and a high workload with below average pay, you can get by well enough.

Towards the end, everything was chaotic.  you had no idea what to expect and things were typically all over the place.  North America one year was leading the charge then suddenly they're firing managers because the profits are down and they overspent.  Managers were overworked, communication was subpar and regulations and honesty were really not a thing.

If you want to work for Fujitsu I recommend making sure you have exhausted all other job opportunities before signing on because you will feel unappreciated, underpaid and anxiety levels will rise.

 was approved for an IT Project Coordinator role at Fujitsu in Vancouver. Unfortunately, I received no support as a new employee. From the second week, instead of guidance, I experienced constant criticism. I didn’t even have the opportunity to connect my headset to the Fujitsu laptop during my second week. Shockingly, in the third week, I was laid off without proper explanation.
This was the biggest shock I’ve experienced in my 17 years of professional work. There was no onboarding support, no professionalism, and no time given to adapt to a new environment and unfamiliar systems. It was, by far, the worst experience I’ve ever had in my career.
