I started out as a temp on the production lines but when upper management saw my work ethic i was givin more responsibility and sent to a diffrent location with out a raise, i was eventually hired on full time permanent things were going well always positive feedback from my superiors.
My last few weeks were extremely stressful i was put in charge of new hires with no supervision and givin several tasks with no instruction i was able to manage those tasks but i was doing my job and the job of 3 other people; aswell as my own. i had an accident on the forklift very minor and out of my control no one was hurt nothing was damaged, the brakes on the forklift wern't working and i tipped over a skid.
i had a very stressful week and was considering harming myself and i said "i think im done" and left i had no supervision that day and no one to report me leaving to. I went home slept it off and went in the following Monday got walked in said hi to my supervisor she smiled as she always does and i carried on. about 10 min later i get approached and told i have to leave because i quit. future transfer is a family of selfish people who look out for their own interests/selves but preech how understanding and supportive they are. i told them i was suicidal and they fired me. 

The work of Future Transfer is in it's name; You are transferring chemicals from one place to another.  The chemicals can be harsh, so being able to deal with strong smells is a must. With that said, protective gear is provided and you should always use it, and push your lead hands and management to keep up to date on the quality and stock of said gear.

The owners of the company are fantastic. They are friendly and hold meetings with  everyone to show the progress, and a year to date update of the company financially. Management does need some work, mostly in regards to supervising. 

The overall atmosphere at work is pretty awesome. Everyone was friendly, fist bumping each other, and and had an overall positive outlook about coming to work. Working as a team and meeting set production goals felt good at the end of the day. BBQ's and free lunches from the company were common. 

Not all is perfect, and Future Transfer does need to work on safety - especially in regards to proper masks and respiratory devices. If they can tackle this, I think the company could go get closer to becoming a "top employer",

I learned to drive forklift and that I'm capable of anything. 
Culture is suspected of causing high blood pressure and suspected of using fear as motivation .
Watching hypocrites benefit off hardworking people ,in my opinion,theres also a strong possibility hr doesn't even know what goes on in the warehouse, but would do anything to protect the company name.
Christmas party was nice.
Best part,coworkers who treat you like family and make you feel accepted. Lunch was nice.

The company is taking advantage of employees, hires inexperienced youth to do manual labor , with  the likely hood they will quit and replace them, the labor market is their source for workers, they not interested in you, they  want your hands ands legs, you as a person couldn't care, because they can replace you. Management is family , so family get the benefits of a career and good salary, they seem to hire Punjabi and promote them Punjabi is spoken a lot, so english is a second language, hence have no idea what they are talking about. as a result only a few no what going on

Co-workers are friendly and helpful 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Supervisors tell you one thing, management tells you another. Upper management always looks for scapegoat.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Management is so crooked.. they preach safety, but yet the  Experienced Plant/Senior Operations Manager can walk around with no safety glasses,hardhat or hi-vis clothing. Yet if he catches you taking yours off even for a second your gone.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy and fun with co-workers but management ruins the whole setting.

Great place to work, amazing up to goverment level benifits, pay is great!! Work and people are amazing, friendly down to earth. Managment is great, can go to them for anything, advice, help, questions you may have. Work schedule is flexible, if you need time off for anything serious or need some vacation, they're very flexible and if you have an appointment during the day they are flexible with that as well, except for when we are super crazy busy and are on overtime during the season when farmers and vendors order seed.

I was working there over long time of period until owner was on site company environment was really good but he moved last year and they hired new production or Plant manager and after that he started to irritate people for unwanted things and give a lot stress people get tired of him and started to move I was one of them. And still who are working there even though want to leave ASAP. really disappointed with new manager. I would not recommend until that guy is working there. Otherwise company and other staff were supportive and friendly.

It’s not a bad place to work. Show up everyday and do your work. Be reliable you will have a job. It can be very fast pace then slow right now to nothing. Slow times during the season can be very boring. You get company benefits and they match pay into your RRSP. There is unfortunately favouritism and double standards within the company. It’s hard to move up within the company. Most job posted within the company are already filled. Which makes it hard to move up and a waste of a person time applying to internal jobs postings. 

Working here feels like being part of a close-knit family while still having the resources and stability of a large organization. The people are genuinely supportive, approachable, and enjoyable to work with. One of the things I appreciate most is the opportunity for advancement and professional growth. There are clear paths to develop your skills and progress in your career. The benefits package is excellent, and employee well-being investment is present. Overall, it's a great place to build a long-term career while feeling valued as an individual.

Plans changing all the time which happens and communication which is always a work in progress

Love hate for now there’s a lot of new people and change and people don’t like change that often

Pretty good gets hectic sometimes
