This company needs alot of work, starting from the top. President/owner has very poor priorities.  Paying bills is not one of them, and if put in a position to have to pay, takes it out on employees. Employees are consistently penalized and blamed for work not being complete, when in actuality it is beyond the control as there is only one person that can pay for material/services.  A strong pattern of getting rid of employees claiming, "restructuring" when in actuality, it's just consistent scapegoating. Very few employees have job security.  Lots of employees walking on eggshells for fear of losing their job before finding another one, thought most are already looking. 
Many employees are very overworked, underpaid and yet, president/owner consistently gets rid of good employees that push back, and piles the work on to others claiming, their current workload isn't full time. Never thinks employees are working enough. 
Too many "yes" men/women in upper management, so no changes will ever be made, unfortunately. Some of the employees are great, so it's very sad. Can't see this business being around for much longer if changes aren't made. 

The company culture is negative and what they say they do is not exactly what they do. Watch your back daily as some people are out to get you if you are not in line with what they want to achieve. There is no growth potential at Gemini, as growth for them is to grid of people and replace them with other people or just add more work onto your plate without an increase in pay. The safety culture is lacking, makes you wonder how they get through their COR audits. Their quality culture is also lacking, way too many people doing short cuts, and it does not help when you have the president and the vice president allowing such behaviour, revenue over quality and safety.

The company is poorly run and managed, way too many knee jerk reactions in solving issues. It is almost like the president wakes up with a new way to do business and run the company.

Unless you are really needing a job to make ends meet, I would advise you to just walk away or you will be looking for another job within a few months.

Too many privilege people there who are friends of the owner or Management, that screw decision making and you have to tip toe around. 
Management constantly fight with each others while the employees get caught in the middle. 
Too many Finger pointing and no one wants to be accountable. 

If the company were to let each department just do their job(s) as intended, less bickering with each other, maybe be a good company to work for. 


Gemini is a company take all kinds of new projects and repairs,

which offers many diverse type of  work. Great for learning and experience.

My start date they could not execute a complete facility walk through post-orientation. Everybody there is wearing so many hats. Thank God I had my own PPE because it was on short supply if even available at all. A night shift new hire lasted 2 hours he didn't bring his own PPE he assumed that they would provide it which they don't safety glasses and ear plugs at best. This is not a good place for somebody new to the industry.

I’ve been here for about three years now, and I’ve had a positive experience. The rotating equipment repair facility where I work is well-equipped, and the team is experienced and knowledgeable. One of the things I appreciate most is the focus on continuous improvement. We’re always looking for ways to do things better and more efficiently, and management supports that. The workload can be demanding, especially during tight deadlines, but it’s a good challenge.

To start off, i was a cnc machinist, there is no organized tooling, they do not buy tooling you need unless you NEED it, I myself didnt have a problem with management other than, them calling meetings on (your time) breaks i.e; coffee breaks, minimum instruction on how to do jobs, you were just handed a drawing, machine, material. 
I was told they were steadly growing at the interview , and was laid off due to work in less theb 3 months  the other machinists were great people tho

There really is nothing to state truthfully here. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The rate of compensation and lack of safety controls.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very poor. Most. Employees are overworked for minimal pay. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Extremely stressful and competitive with malfunctioning workers.

Ran into the ground for close to nothing. Management liked to micro manage but had no idea how to do jobs. One person in particular would always try have motivational speeches that left you wanting to kick the guy in the divk. Cameras throughout the shop to watch workers but nothing to watch their equipment that gets stolen from the yard. The person who hired me is a pretty awesome dude though. I stayed for the length I did because of the guys on the floor.

The honesty and positivity from Management and co-workers, everyone is very helpful and works together. Being new it is hard to really have a good read on the company but so far, I have nothing bad to say about the company. My training has been great, and I am looking forward to the next steps and growth with the company into a different position. I am thankful I got the chance to get my foot in the door and work with such a good company.

Having worked at Gemini for nearly a decade, I can say it’s a place where hard work is recognized and rewarded. I started in the rotating equipment repair service and moved into a supervisory role. The opportunities for growth are there if you’re willing to take them. The team here is skilled and motivated, and the company does a good job of providing the tools and training we need to succeed. The pay is competitive, and the benefits package is solid.
