I had the opportunity to work a couple of days a week with the legal team, on a contract.  Without a doubt, the nicest, most dedicated, most intelligent and down to earth team of people I've ever had the pleasure of working with.

The leader of the team, is a highly intelligent, decisive leader who has earned the respect of her staff as well as her colleagues.  She really is a wonder to behold at the conference table. 

Gilead is a demanding employer, that expects excellence in effort and the highest integrity.  If you get the opportunity to work here, take it!  You won't be sorry!!!!

Managers manage by fear.  If you have a great manager your experience is different.  However too many unqualified managers. I was asked to do things that were not compliant with industry rules and regulations in the PAH space.  Bonuses and awards are at management discretion not about your performance.  If you want a company where you are rewarded and promoted for your contributions and work ethic. Don't work here.  If you are great at politics and kissing butt and other things  then this is your company 

Oracle EBS Functional and Technical.Good Job Culture.Participated in all Design phases of this project.
Learned more anout OPM and had adapted to different project reuirements,
We have a team size of 5 with developers and Functional consultants.
The harderst part of the job is to meet the complex req's which are solely in OPM .
The most enjoyable part of the job is despite stringent deadline we could meet all the req's and development with minor issues during Golive.

Job advancements is a huge challenge. The performance ratings are confusing and seniority does not matter. Some managers are great, but most of them do not provide opportunities to grow here. It is good to work here for around 4-5 years, but if one looks to grow faster, they need to look elsewhere.

Very competitive environmemt where steady presence with customers, reaching and surpassing objectives and having a high perception was a priority. Great portfolio that needed strong detailing.

Gilead Science is very professional,  continuesly growing company. In this environment employees are looking forward to improve their skills, knowledge not only as professionals but also interpersonal skills as well. There are always goals to achieve and every one works as a team to help each other.

Gilead was a well established company who displayed excellent standards of work and the environment was extremely challenging and rewarding. I learnt excellent organisation skills and learnt how to prioritise my workload accordingly. Management was very supportive.

Pros: the Pay is ok, benefit can reach the average standard, good balance between life and work. 
Cons: Poor management, lack of career growth, employee stock purchase plan is not that attractive. 

Great place to learn, most of the people in Regulatory at Gilead have 8+ years of work experience. Starting your career at a company like Gilead gives you great work experience, with a lot of room to grow and learn.

I spent 19 years helping to grow this company.  In the world of big pharma, they are leaders. Synthetic organic chemistry is their specialty while helping patients recover from fatal disease is the reward.
